A massive well done, Carson! 👏👏

From the very start of the session, Carson was absolutely on it. His attitude was fantastic, he listened really well to everything that was asked of him and, most importantly, he put it into practice on the pitch.

He worked hard throughout, took on the coaching points, stayed focused and gave us exactly the kind of effort and attitude we want to see from the players. 💪⚽

As a coach, it’s brilliant to see a player not only listen, but actually take the information on board and use it. Carson did that tonight and deservedly takes home our Trainer of the Week award. 🏆

Since joining Carson has been fantastic to have around the group, he leads by example, his understanding of the game is fantastic and he will cover ever blade of grass.

Keep working hard, keep listening and keep enjoying your football, Carson! 👏

🏆 Player of the Match............OLLIE 🏆

A brilliant performance in his first start for the team! We threw him out of his comfort zone in a position that’s he’s not used to playing for the team for part of the game, he adapted brilliantly and when asked to step back into defence he defended so well. His decision making was fantastic. Well done Ollie, great league debut for us 🔴⚪️💪⚽️

⚽ First Game of the Season
Our first game of the season saw us take on Brampton Rovers Blues in a bright and early 8:30am kick-off!
Both teams started positively, looking to move the ball, pass into space and find their teammates in good positions. It was a really close first half, with both sides getting on the scoresheet and plenty of encouraging signs to take into the break.
At half time, the message was simple — keep working hard, keep getting your heads up and keep looking for teammates in space.
Although… that message must have got a little lost in translation! 😂
Within the first five minutes of the second half, we suddenly found ourselves with a mountain to climb. Despite that, huge credit to the players, who continued to work hard and never gave up, giving it a really good go right until the end. 💪
There are plenty of positives to take from our first outing of the season, and plenty for us to work on as we continue to develop and improve.
👏 Well done to all the players for their effort and attitude.
🤝 Best of luck to Brampton Rovers Blues for the remainder of the season!

⚽️ BOLSOVER TOWN ARE BACK! 🔴⚪️

After what feels like an absolute age, Bolsover Town are finally back in league action! 🙌

It’s been a busy few months for us. We’ve had our presentation night, said goodbye to a few players, welcomed some new faces, trained incredibly hard through some seriously warm weather ☀️, and played in plenty of tournaments along the way.

We’ve had some great moments, some not-so-great ones 😂, but that’s football! It’s all part of the journey, and now the wait is almost over.

The 2026/27 season is nearly ready to kick off, which means new challenges, new experiences and, most importantly, plenty of opportunities to make some more memories together. ❤️🤍⚽️

I’m just praying this warm weather sticks around all year because I absolutely hate those cold, wet mornings! 🤣🤣

Let’s get this season started! 🔥

🏆🔴⚪️PLAYER OF THE MONTH—SMITHY! 🔴⚪️🏆

A massive congratulations to Smithy on being named our August Player of the Month! 👏⚽️

Smithy has made some brilliant progress between the sticks over the last month, and it’s been great to see his confidence growing week by week.

🧤 His positioning is improving, he’s getting himself into better positions and reading the game more effectively.
📣 He’s becoming more vocal and starting to communicate more and organise those in front of him.
🧱 Important saves by pulling off some big saves when the team has needed him.
⚽️ His distribution is coming on, becoming more confident with his kicking and getting the ball moving quickly.

There’s always plenty of work going on in the background and still things to work on, but the improvement he is making is great to see 💪

Keep working hard, keep learning and keep believing, Smithy! 👏🧤

🐦‍⬛ MATCH DAY REPORT 🐦‍⬛
Bolsover Town U9s vs Thurcroft Hubstars Green
📍 Moor Lane
⏰ Kick-Off: 6:00pm
Tonight we welcomed Thurcroft Hubstars Green to Moor Lane for the first time, and our opponents gave a really good account of themselves. They played some lovely football, were physical, and kept the game competitive throughout.
Our players were zoned in from the very start, flying out of the blocks and creating plenty of goal-scoring opportunities. We managed to take a few of those chances, but Thurcroft responded with goals of their own to keep the game interesting.
At half-time, the message was simple: match their physicality, keep working hard and, most importantly, keep playing our football.
In the second half, we again started brightly and continued to create chances. There was some really lovely football on show, with the players moving the ball quickly, finding space for one another and working together as a team.
A big well done to all the players for their effort, attitude and football tonight. 👏⚽
A huge thank you to Thurcroft Hubstars Green for coming to Moor Lane and making it such an enjoyable game.
We wish them all the very best for the season ahead. 🤝
