☀️ Beautiful blue skies and sunshine at The Arc for the lads’ final game of the NDYFL 25/26 campaign where they faced Hasland Community U7s.

With a squad of just six due to holidays, the boys knew they’d have to be on it from the start, and start brightly they did! 💪🔥 Jenson and Woody worked a good ball early on, with Woody’s shot being pushed wide by the keeper. Not long after, Zak intercepted the ball in midfield and brilliantly laid the ball off for Woody, who was rewarded this time with the opening goal of the match ⚽️

There was lots of good pressure from Tupton, who had plenty of chances to add more goals in the opening ten minutes. Zak, Jenson and Woody all came close but were denied by the post, crossbar or some great goalkeeping from the opposition. 👏🥅

At the back, Reggie set his stall out early and stayed solid throughout the half, making some great tackles and strong blocks, meaning keeper Jack didn’t have too much to do. 🛡️💪

The boys kept battling, and their hard work paid off with three more goals before half-time. A brilliant strike from Woody ⚽️, a lovely link-up between Mason, Zak and Jenson for Jenson’s first of the day ⚽️, and a powerful effort from his own half by Reggie ⚽️

Tupton were unusually slow out of the blocks for the second half, making it a busy opening five minutes for Reggie and Jack. Despite some top-class defending, Hasland found a way through to pull a deserved goal back ⚽️

The boys soon got back into their stride, making some great runs down the wings and showcasing fantastic footwork, as well as some well-taken corners. It was great to watch the boys play such lovely football! 👏🔥

More goals followed for Tupton. A pinpoint ball from Zak found Woody, who finished brilliantly on the volley ⚽️, securing the first of three hat-tricks for the team! 🎩🎉

After narrowly missing from a precision pass from Woody, Jenson made amends with a superb first touch in the box and a calm finish for his second ⚽️. A straight-off-the-training-pitch corner from Woody was met by an on-fire Reggie, who powered home again ⚽️🔥

Tupton were dominant throughout the second half, but Hasland pulled another goal back against the run of play, an unfortunate bounce in front of the keeper seeing the ball creep over the line ⚽️

The last quarter of the match showcased the boys’ team spirit and desire, with Tupton looking dangerous on every run forward and from every set piece. 💪🔥👏

After meeting a great corner from Jenson, Reggie capped off his day with a hat-trick ⚽️🎩! The team goal of the day followed, with Jenson making a blistering run down the line and passing to Woody, who played a top-tier ball through for Zak. Having got himself into the perfect position, Zak slotted home a wonderfully taken goal ⚽️

Jack and Woody then traded places, with Woody going in net. Jack wasted no time getting stuck in outfield, making a phenomenal solo run, only to see his shot go just wide. 😮‍💨 Soon after, another good run from Jack brought a foul in the box and Tupton were awarded a penalty. Mason stepped up confidently and absolutely fired home from the spot ⚽️

Jenson and Jack then linked up brilliantly for Jenson’s hat-trick ⚽️🎩

Jack made sure every player made it onto the scoresheet today, scoring a wonderfully taken goal of his own with the last kick of the match ⚽️🙌

👏 What a performance to end a truly sensational first season!

The boys have worked tirelessly all year, showing fantastic dedication, improving week by week, and growing into a brilliant team both on and off the pitch. The results have been outstanding, but it’s their teamwork, friendships and attitude that make us most proud.

⭐️ Star of the Week ⭐️

All the boys were fantastic as they took part in their final training session of the 25/26 season, but this week Woody really stood out! 👏⚽️

Woody showed great shooting throughout the drills and displayed an excellent range of passing out from the back during the match at the end of the session. His hard work, confidence and attitude have been brilliant to see. 💪

As a reward for his efforts, Woody will wear the captain’s armband for tomorrow morning’s final NDYFL match of the campaign against Hasland Community U7s.

Well done, Woody and a big good luck to the boys tomorrow! Let’s go Tupton ⚫️🟡

‼️Match Report ‼️

The boys produced another brilliant team performance today at the Arc 🌟, with attacking football, strong defending and great teamwork throughout against today’s opponents Wingerworth Bears 🐻

The game started with plenty of energy as Charlie, Reggie, Zak and Woody all worked hard to put pressure on the opposition. 💪 Reggie made an important clearance early on while Woody looked strong and composed at the back. 🛡️ Reggie also tested the keeper with a good effort as Tupton began to take control.

The breakthrough came after some excellent build-up play. Woody stayed calm in front of goal after a good pass from Zak to get Tupton on the scoresheet ⚽️. Zak was causing problems down the wing all game and soon set up another goal with a fantastic run and pass for Charlie to finish well ⚽️. Moments later Zak delivered another brilliant cross for Woody to score his second ⚽️.

Tupton continued to play with confidence ✨Reggie was unlucky after a great run, before Woody cleared well to Zak who finished confidently ⚽️ Zak then added another after an assist from Woody to cap off a dominant spell ⚽️.

Changes were made with Mason, Jenson and Arnie coming on, and they kept up the positive display. 🔄 Arnie grabbed a goal of his own ⚽️, while Mason battled hard in midfield. Jack produced some excellent saves to keep Wingerworth out 🧤, with Arnie also making an important block before Jack followed up with another smart stop. Wingerworth pinched one against the run of play ⚽️; shortly after Woody had been unlucky to hit the post as Tupton kept pushing forward.

At half time Woody went in goal, with Jack moving outfield. 🔁 Jenson hit the post and then weaved past three players only to be denied by a good save. Jack defended brilliantly with an important block, before Woody’s kick in found Jenson who finished superbly ⚽️.

Tupton continued to create chances with Jenson going close again, Jack hitting the post and Zak putting more dangerous balls into the box. 🎯 Woody made some strong saves in goal to keep the pressure off at the other end but despite the team’s best efforts Wingerworth did manage to find their way through to get their second of the match ⚽️.

Late in the game Jenson showed great determination to win the ball back before controlling it well and scoring another excellent goal ⚽️. Reggie then capped off the performance, picking up an assist from Mason and finishing well ⚽️ to round off another fantastic team display👏🙌 .

🏅 Player of the match today went to Zak for his fantastic teamwork, playing a huge part in many of the goals for the team and putting in a real shift from start to finish. A shoutout for Travis Higginbottom too 👏 - great refereeing as usual, it’s always a pleasure to have you in charge of our games.

With no match next week, today marks the end of the season for Arnie & Charlie who will be on holiday for our last game. ☀️ Enjoy your well deserved break boys - what a first season!! 🙌

⭐️ Star of the Week ⭐️

Massive congratulations to Reggie on being named this week’s Star of the Week! 👏⚽

An all-round great performance tonight. Reggie applied himself brilliantly in all the drills and then showed the coaches exactly what he had learnt during the match at the end.

To top it all off, he finished with a fantastic top-corner strike that even Coach Aidan couldn’t keep out! 🚀🥅

Reggie will proudly wear the captain’s armband and lead his team in our NDYFL game against Wingerworth JSA U7 Bears tomorrow. Keep up the hard work Reggie! 👏

‼️Match Report ‼️

A late morning kick off, Tupton taking on Staveley Miners Welfare JFC U7s at the Arc.

The team put in an excellent all-round performance, showing great teamwork 🤝, determination 💪, and attacking football from start to finish.

The game began with Charlie making an important clearance out for a corner 👏 before Jenson reacted quickest to a loose ball, driving forward and finishing well to open the scoring ⚽️🔥. Jack was called into action early with an important save 🧤, while Jenson looked lively in attack, first firing wide before being denied after good work from Zak. Any Staveley advances were quickly halted by Reggie, showing his strength and skill at the back.

Tupton looked in control, A brilliant moment saw Jenson produce a fantastic turn, burst down the right-hand side, and finish confidently ⚽️🙌. Charlie, Zak, and Jenson linked up superbly throughout the half and were unlucky not to create even more goals. Jenson then showed great awareness and determination by nicking the ball from the keeper to grab another goal ⚽️⚡️.

Changes followed with Arnie, Woody, and Mason coming on 🔄. Jack continued to impress with two excellent saves 🧤🧤 to keep the opposition out. Woody showed great skill going forward 🌟 and was unlucky to see his effort saved for a corner.

Another goal came from excellent teamwork 🤩. Reggie cleared to Mason, who played the ball up the pitch for Arnie to shoot, and Woody reacted quickest to score the follow-up ⚽️👏. Zak returned to the pitch and immediately made an impact with a strong challenge 💪, while Woody looked solid defensively 🛡️. Arnie then did brilliantly to keep the ball in from a cross that hit the post, with Mason just unable to convert the rebound.

The second half started with Zak, Charlie, Jenson, and Reggie all involved as the team kept their intensity high 🔥. Jack made another important save 🧤 before Jenson went on a strong run and forced the keeper into another stop. Zak continued to provide dangerous deliveries 🎯, including a great ball in that saw Jenson’s shot blocked by the keeper. Charlie also came close following a Zak corner.

Woody delivered a superb cross for Jenson to score again ⚽️🙌, while another Woody corner looked as though it may have crossed the line 👀. Charlie made a brilliant clearance at the back 🚫, and Woody combined well with Zak in another dangerous attack.

Arnie produced another important clearance 👏, while Woody continued to threaten with a powerful shot that was tipped over by the keeper 🧤. Soon after, Arnie played an excellent ball into the box, a defender’s deflection taking the ball off course, and Jenson reacted fastest to finish, getting his fifth of the day ⚽️🔥.

Late in the game, Jack made another save 🧤 before Woody cleared well. Jack then switched out of goal with Woody taking over as keeper 🔄. Jack immediately made an impact further forward, driving down the line before playing a great pass to Jenson, who was unlucky to finish just wide. Soon after, Jack made another blistering run, this time his efforts were rewarded when his well taken shot found the back of the net ⚽️

Woody also produced two very good saves in goal 🧤🧤, while Reggie was unlucky not to score after seeing his shot go just wide not long before the final whistle.

Overall, it was a brilliant team performance 🌟 with strong defending 🛡️, excellent teamwork 🤝, and plenty of attacking quality throughout the match, well done lads!

After an amazing performance at the weekend, Jack once again showed his fantastic skill between the posts! 🧤

Not only did he make some brilliant saves, but he also showed how versatile he is with his excellent passing throughout the match. To top it all off, he gave absolutely everything in the sprint drill too! 💪⚽️

A huge well done to Jack, a fantastic attitude and performance all round. 👏

He’ll also be captaining the team again tomorrow in our NDYFL match against Staveley Miners Welfare JFC. Good luck boys 💪💫
