🏒🔥 Chesterfield Chieftains – F4’s Plate Champions 🔥🏒

What a weekend. What a performance. 💪

After going undefeated in Sunday’s seeding games, the Chieftains earned a bye straight into the semi-finals.

A hard-fought battle against Dek Stars True Blue saw us edge through 1-0 and book our place in the final… setting up a rematch with NE Sharks Great Whites.

After a 3-3 draw in the group stages on Saturday, the boys were ready for retribution. And they delivered.

A tight start turned into a dominant finish as the Chieftains ran out 4-1 winners, bringing the F4’s Plate home 🏆

Sunday Results:
✅ 6-1 vs Knights
✅ 6-0 vs Lightning
✅ 4-0 vs Dek Stars True Blue

Semi Final:
✅ 1-0 vs Dek Stars True Blue

Final:
🏆 4-1 vs NE Sharks Great Whites

We’re excited to announce a late addition to the F4’s squad for this weekend—please welcome Simon Hines! 🙌

A regular with the Stingrays, Simon brings quality, experience, and energy to the lineup, and we’re thrilled to have him joining the tribe for the weekend.

Unfortunately, TJ Hicks will not be joining the team for this weekend’s tournament due to a knee injury.

Everyone at the Chieftains wishes TJ a full and speedy recovery—we know he’ll be back battling on the rink soon. 💪

This weekend, the tribe stands together. We’ll hit the rink ready to do battle on his behalf and give it everything we’ve got.

Welcome to the club, Morgan Buda 🔴⚫🥅

Morgan joins the Chesterfield Chieftains BHC as our netminder for the Fantastic 4’s Tournament in Gateshead (21st–22nd March).

With a lightning-fast glove, excellent game reading and a calm presence in the crease, Morgan gives the squad a solid last line of defence. A goalie who tracks the play well and makes the big saves when it matters.

We’re very happy to have him guarding the net in Chieftains colours 👊

Wilson joins the Chesterfield Chieftains BHC for the Fantastic 4’s Tournament in Gateshead (21st–22nd March).

Extremely fast and highly skilled, Wilson backs it up with the effort to match. A constant threat at even strength and dangerous on both special teams, he’s the type of player who can take over a game.

Lewis is back with the Chesterfield Chieftains BHC for the Fantastic 4’s Tournament in Gateshead (21st–22nd March).

The heart and soul of any team he plays for, Lewis brings relentless effort, passion and commitment every single shift. One of the most driven players you could hope to find and a hard worker both on and off the rink.
