What sets ZE One Goalkeeping apart?

When I set up ZE One Goalkeeping I had one main intention and that is to support young goalkeepers reach their potential by passing down my knowledge and making sessions fun and engaging for the goalkeeper.

I speak with the keepers and they have the opportunity to tell me what they want to work on and how they think they can get better.

My sessions are tailored to each goalkeeper. This is emphasised by the new Independent Development Plans which have been brought in from the beginning of August. This is to support me to put on better sessions and more specific sessions to the goalkeepers wants and needs to enjoy and get better. More importantly, the IDP's are in place for the goalkeepers to monitor their progress and see how they are improving and what they can do to take there game to the next level.

My aim is to pass down my positive traits to the young goalkeepers that they can take into their goalkeeping career but also skills and traits that will support them away from the pitch. My most noticeable traits include: Professionalism, ambitious, hard working and positive.

Lastly, and arguably the most important thing that sets ZE One Goalkeeping from the others is my emphasis on working on the mental side of the game with the keepers. As we all know goalkeeping is mostly mentality and if a goalkeeper isn't confident then the keepers generally don't perform. My aim is to make all my keepers confidence rocket. I push them to be the best they can be and praise them when things go right. I praise the little habits and technical improvements and so far that has supported all my goalkeepers to make excellent progress.

Great 1-to-1 session last week.

Rudi wanted to work on his distribution this session so we did a range of different drills designed to work on distribution.

We went over:
Different scenarios.
Spoke about potential outcomes.
Positioning when receiving the football
Making the right decisions when distributing or receiving the football.

In previous sessions we have worked on the more technical side of distributing the football so there has been more emphasis on the touch and the individual areas on how to make overall distribution stronger etc.

ZE One Goalkeeping is introducing Individual development plans from 1st August.

At ZE One goalkeeping I aim to offer great quality sessions that are personalised for your goalkeepers. This is why I've brought in IDP's.

When your goalkeeper gets coached by me at ZE One Goalkeeping the aim is to create an environment for great development over time taking the gk to the highest possible level rather than my sessions being a one off where the session focus could be random.

If your goalkeeper would be interested in the IDP then get in touch and I will offer 1 session totally free so you can see what the sessions are like before committing to anything.

It would be great to get more goalkeepers on board and I can't wait to release the IDP's from August.

First session in the ZE One Goalkeeping kit!

I am delighted to announce that ZE One Goalkeeping has now got a kit of their own. This is a massive step forward as it is a chance to build on the professionalism that I pledge to bring to sessions which should get passed down to the goalkeepers.

Thank you to Kiss Clothing Print Studio for the kit. I'd highly recommend to get kit from here as the quality is excellent, speedy delivery time and responses on top of it being simple and easy to order.
