And that’s it for 25/26!

UoC Tennis increased its membership significantly this year. All of the members new and old made sure tennis was filled with great laughs and companionship, and the creation of a fantastic community within the club.

This year was filled with many successful events such as each of the sessions, socials, charity events, awards nights, and the AGM meeting with the new committee members getting sorted with ease.

With achievements such as the men’s BUCS getting back up and running, the announcement of a women’s BUCS team for next year, charity events raising over £730 and of course a Club of the Year award! 25/26 can be deemed pretty successful! And we couldn’t be prouder.

🏆 CLUB OF THE YEAR 2026🏆

What an emotional night.

We are incredibly proud to have been named Club of the Year at the AU Awards, sharing the honour with ❤️🖤

To see how far this club has come makes this achievement even more special. From a small group of players to one of the fastest growing sports clubs at the university, this award is a reflection of every training session, social, fundraiser, volunteer event, BUCS match and memory created along the way.

More than anything, this club has become a community. A place where friendships are made, confidence is built and people can enjoy the sport we all love.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey this year. Whether you’ve picked up a racket for the first time, represented us in competition, helped organise events this award belongs to all of you.

We would also like to give a HUGE shoutout to Christian Wells - Club Captain, Max Jones - Vice Club Captain, Sam Bailey - Mens Team Captain and Oliver Dent - Charity Officer, for putting in an immense amount of effort towards our club these past few years.

Here’s to an incredible year and an even bigger one ahead. UP THE TENNIS 🎾🥇

Thank you so much for everyone who came down yesterday for our charity football match to support . We ended up raising over £200 for such a great cause. So many great games played and we hoped you all enjoyed.
