Birtley St Josephs Youth Club

Birtley St Josephs Youth Club Join us every Monday from 6:30–8:00pm at Birtley Catholic Club! Places are limited so please post a message on the wall in the first instance.

Open to children aged 7–11, our sessions are all about making friends, trying new activities, and having lots of fun each week. The youth club was started 10 years ago and has run successfully since, admission is only 50p and upon first attendance a parent will need to fill out a standard contact form. The youth club is a chance to meet your friends, make new friends, and learn or try new activities, some of which may be completely new to you. There are various activities that we do from sports to crafts and we also have a pool table,air hockey table, table tennis and consoles for a variation of things to do. The craft involved can be messy and therefore we always stress that clothing should be old and so will not be a problem if it gets mucky. The youth club is a charity and started with donations from generous locals and will always accept any unwanted items or equipment associated with a youth club, footballs, consoles, etc. We are always looking for parent helpers who wish to join, as a charity it is obviously unpaid but all will be subjected to a check done by the local parish.
