Photo quality isn't the best, but a massive well done to Evelyn and Ava playing their first games for their teams today.

Both are still training at Girls Football Coaching Chepstow, but have signed for teams this season and played their first games today.

Evelyn played for the new Chepstow Town AFC Girls under 10 at Fleur-de-lis and Ava played for Cinderford Town Lionesses at Cheltenham Spa.

They did amazing, and having game time will only aid their development. We're really proud of them and look forward to them continuing to grow as footballers and young women.

We had a really good 1:1 session with Poppy on Friday evening, her last before the season starts on Sunday!

She looked committed and locked in - this is her first-ever season of competition football, and has been good in preseason. We're looking forward to seeing how well she does tomorrow 💪

At the weekend Immy joined the group to support them and show them how to do the drills we had lined up.

The focus for Saturday was "turning," "dribbling," and "shooting." At the end we combined all of those things into one drill.

Thanks to Zoe and Immy's dad, Dan Parkes, for acting as cameraman and putting his life in his hands with Immy's wayward shot at the end 😅

It was WET yesterday - so wet that our social media manager sacked the morning off!

Despite the pouring rain and it being a bank holiday weekend we still had Zoe and Carys come for a training session and they were joined by Immy from Chepstow Town Under 13 Girls, who helped show them some skills before her 1:1 session afterwards.

Loving the commitment - they braved the summer heatwave and now they've faced the Autumn rainstorms 💪

On Saturday we had Faye from Chepstow Town Under 13 Girls do demonstrations on the shooting drill for Naomi and Ava.

She might have hit the target if she'd worn sensible shoes 😅

It's great to have support from the older age groups towards the younger girls at the football school 🥰

Abigail rocking the Girls Football Coaching Chepstow kit during her 1:1 session yesterday afternoon.

It was a gruelling session, lots of running and moving. The effort levels were off the charts, with the start of the girls season almost upon us!

We saw rain today!

We also had a fantastic 1:1 session with one of the under 13 girls captains, Faye. She's come back from holiday and wants to get back in the swing of things before the season kicks off very shortly!

Massive congratulations to coach Ben for completing his UEFA C License course!

It was a great experience, learning new coaching techniques and methods and ways of communicating. Here's hoping this will help the girls with their training!
