What a great turnout at our MTC practice day today.
Thank you so much for your support. We’re only a small team that works tirelessly each month to add new & keep existing areas clear, your support fuels us to keep going.
We also had the opportunity to introduce some younger riders to trials on the electric TRS-20 demo bike, it’s imperative we continue to do what we can grow trials & share the fun we all experience.
Apologies for not posting any photos this month, we ran out of time to get out & take any.

Special thanks to Geoff Allen for donating a pair of kids riding jeans & shirt for our ‘Kids introduction to trials’ project.

More preparation work for the MTC team.
Next PRACTICE DAY - SUNDAY 6th SEPTEMBER at the MAGNUM TRIALS CENTRE.
As well as the 3mile lap suitable for all abilities, we now have a ‘Kids Zone’ for new young riders to build their confidence & understand their machines prior to progressing around the rest of the venue.

The additional loop now give the option of a 2 or 3 mile lap that'll incorporate more banks with rooted climbs & the rock bedded waters in the Wash Pool area.
Venue is suitable for all ages & abilities across a variety of terrains
Join us for a fun day with mates & make new friends too.

Thanks to TRS-UK & BVM-Moto, we now have available a demo TRS 20 electric kids bike to try (age range 6-9yrs, dependant on height) at our first Sunday of the month practice days.
If anyone can help us out with a couple of pairs of secondhand riding jeans &/or secondhand boots (guessing size 12-2), it would be much appreciated (we will pay, we don’t expect them to be foc).
This will allow us at the Magnum Trials Centre to give kids the opportunity to try trials in our kids only zone, prior to parents having to invest.

2027 Magnum Trials Centre Fixtures

With just 3 practice days left this year, discussions are being had regarding additions & changes we can make over our 2 month winter shutdown.

Please pass these dates onto your clubs & centres so that we can avoid date clashes where possible.

Thanks to George Marshall at Avon Scaffolding (Evesham), for supplying numerous scaffold poles in a variety of lengths.
These will act as anchor posts for the various height steps we’ll be creating on a recently cleared bank in Parsons Piece & on new climbs within the West Cliff area.
With George being a Midland centre expert class rider from the Stratford club, we’ll make sure he’s the first to try them. 😊

38 degrees at the Magnum Trials Centre today was definitely warm enough.
The MTC lads had chance get a bit of practice in whilst supporting BVM Moto at their rider training day.

Well that was a different way to spend a Monday evening…
We were trying to represent the Magnum Trials Centre at last night’s Western Centre meeting, but we never got there…
3hrs sat stationary on the M5 & around 5hrs sat in the car, but the sunset was nice. 🌅
