Unfortunately the First teams game against Winchcombe Town Reserves was postponed due to them not having enough players.

Head to the Academy session at The Park Campus (GL50 2RH) tomorrow morning 11:00am - 12:30pm 📅

£4 pay as you go or £10 subs 6 monthly.

Training will be on Saturdays with a view to playing matches on Sundays ⚽💚

Want to join the team? Head to the Leckhamtpon Rovers Welcome Desk at The Academy session in Park Campus (GL50 2RH) on Saturday 4th October 11:00am - 12:30pm ⚽️

There’s usually parking available (although we can’t guarantee this) so please feel free to head straight here.

The sessions cost just £4 for pay as you go or £10 subs 6 monthly.

Training will be on Saturdays with a view to playing matches on Sundays.

The reserves kickoff their season at Suckley Playing fields against St John’s 🇳🇬🇳🇬

It’s been a good preseason with lots of senior players stepping up to run sessions to get the lads ready for when the whistle blows today.

Good luck to all our new signings, and the lads stepping up from our Leckhampton youth pathway.

Rovers First and Second Teams Share the Spoils in Preseason training game.
Leckhampton Rovers' first and second teams faced off in a tightly contested preseason training match this Saturday, ending in a 1-1 draw. The game offered a great opportunity for the squad to get some valuable minutes on the pitch as they prepare for the new season.
The first team took the lead with a well-taken goal from midfielder Joe Smith, who has been in great form throughout preseason training. However, the second team, showing great resilience, fought their way back into the game. Veteran striker Matty Wright proved he still has a keen eye for goal, grabbing the equaliser to ensure the spoils were shared.
The match was a chance for manager Nico Goymer to assess the progress of the entire squad. The new players looked to be integrating well, showing promise and adding some fresh energy to the group.
Following the game, the club held its first social of the year, organised by social secretary Matty Byrne. Byrne highlighted the importance of these events, saying, "Team socials are so important throughout the season, but especially in preseason when we're integrating new players with the existing squad."
The evening provided a great chance for players to bond off the pitch, strengthening the team spirit that will be vital for the challenges ahead. With the preseason schedule now in full swing, Lecky look well-prepared for the start of the season.

We asked him to tell us why……

“Growing up playing for Leckhampton throughout my teenage years it was an easy decision to continue and play for their men’s team. The transition between kids and men’s football was made simple by the coaches wanting young players to continue enjoying playing for the club and were great with me. Since then this integration with youth teams has continued, each season added new young players to our squad. This makes it so much more enjoyable for a young player and makes that settling in process way easier. The younger players have been great for us over the last few seasons so hopefully they keep coming though.”
