RWM VIRTUAL 5K RUN 🏃♀️🏃♂️
RWM don’t do parkrun but if they did they wouldn’t do too badly...! 🍻🥂🍷☀️
In our fifth weekend of our virtual run we saw our highest number of runners so far... a HUGE 121!!! Wow!
(YES ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY ONE) runners of which 9 where first timers to the event.
Congratulations to everyone, this weekend everyone is a winner.
The (AVG) times are based on runs that are shorter or longer than the 5K distance.
Another superb amount of finishers, this is still absolutely brilliant guys, looking at how many of you have exercised this week makes me so proud. The influence you are having on others in our great group, on a social media platform and the outer world is HUGE AND CONTINUES TO GROW! This is shown as there are many new friends/runners joining in with us again this weekend.
Whether you walked, jogged or ran you are all HEROES. ❤️
IF I haven’t posted your run yet please comment and post your activity below. I apologise in advance if you’re not included in the list, there are so many heroes out there.
It was lovely once again to see so many families running together and spending time with one another, look at this as a massive POSITIVE, you have the time to do this, we often don’t.
Appreciate what YOU HAVE at this difficult time and keep it close to you.
Life is for living and at times exercising....
1. Be safe, look after your physical health.
2. Workout (however intense it may or may not be) to look after your mental health.

Another HUGE special thanks to all the RWM runners, the RD’s and volunteers, (all of you). Great timekeeping, super sharp uploads, some fantastic pictures and a safe run route, marshalled by you too.
THE WEEK AHEAD...
I am massively looking forward to seeing all of your posts, pictures and the positive impact you have on social media this coming week particularly through our RWM platform once again.
PERSONAL NOTE/THANK YOU FROM ME
As you know I have struggled a lot the back end of this week with two my family members seriously ill. I’d like to thank you all for your comments/personal messages and just the time you have given to me to ensure I’m okay. I can’t tell you how much your support means. Thank you all.
Love to you all and your families this Sunday evening. Matt x
P.S. Sticking together is so important more than ever right now. WE do it so well.
Look at the photo of our extended family below, that is what together looks like. Be kind to yourself, it is okay to not to be okay but remember you are not alone.
