Chartham Sports FC We are a mixed ability club of approx. 260 members, who pride ourselves on bringing the best out of players and enhancing the ability they already have.

We are an ENGLAND FOOTBALL ACCREDITED Club and currently have under7s to Under18s football teams entering the East Kent Youth Football League, along with a Sunday Men's team. Based in the Village of Chartham near Canterbury in Kent we teach fair play and respect to team mates, officials and opposition alike.

🙌 A HUGE thank you to our amazing coaches and parents! 🙌

This week saw some truly incredible community spirit at Chartham Sports FC as our wonderful volunteers rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in at our annual club day!

From sweeping paths and staining decking, to painting blockwork, repairing handrails, clearing out the loft space, organising containers, filling skips — and everything in between — your hard work and dedication has made an enormous difference. 💪✨

Every single pair of hands made this possible, and it is fully appreciated by everyone involved with the club. You are what makes Chartham Sports FC such a special place to be! ❤️⚽

🏆 What an incredible way to end the season! 🏆

A huge thank you to our amazing sponsor YMS Travel for treating our U9 Reds to a luxury executive coach ride to our final game of the season away at Betteshanger! 🚌✨

The game was absolutely AMAZING, and then the fun continued with a trip to Betteshanger Park for games and a well-earned picnic 🌳🧺 — before finishing the day off with slushies and ice cream at the local Premier! 🍦🥤

This incredible day was every bit deserved by this group of outstanding young players. The dedication, determination, and performances they have shown throughout this season have made us all INCREDIBLY proud. Words can't express how much we love this team! ❤️⚽

🍕⚽ What a way to wrap up the season, Chartham Sports U12! 🎉

After a highly competitive campaign in the Faversham District Youth Football League Division 3, our amazing U12s signed off in style last weekend with an emphatic 5-1 victory to finish mid-table — a result that perfectly summed up the character and quality this group has shown all season long.

And tonight? They were treated to a well-deserved end of season pizza party to celebrate everything they’ve achieved! 🍕🏆

This group of young footballers has worked incredibly hard, shown tremendous team spirit, and given their all week in, week out. Every single one of them should be incredibly proud.

A huge thank you to the coaches, parents, and everyone who has supported the team throughout the season — it truly takes a village!

The coaches made a promise to the squad: play well on Saturday they’d be learning the dance together and they can all perform it together! 👀⚽️

Great to hear that the pressure didn’t faze the team and they played their hearts out to achieve one of the best outcomes all season 😄

📣 what a great way to finish a game, the coaches dedication is unrivalled, promoting great teamwork and making the game fun, whatever the cost and how ridiculous it makes them look, well done parents too, it has been noted that the u9 reds parents are partial to a boogie 🤣

What. A. Game. 🔴

With the sun blazing down in Dover for the teams final game of the season, both sides served up an absolute thriller — and our Reds were right in the thick of it playing with passion to the very last second.

Our opponents started the brighter and made it difficult for the reds to get into their groove, but Archie wasn’t going to let them have it their own way, unleashing a thunderous long-range strike⚡

The hosts pressed with more attacking football, leaving Chartham with a mountain to climb going into the break.

Archie struck again to keep the Reds within touching distance, but with ten minutes to go and more goals the game seemed out of reach😬

Not this Chartham team.

Archie completed a sensational hat-trick with yet another long-range rocket 🚀 — giving the keeper nightmares and the Reds renewed belief.

The team rallied;

Missing JP who has been outstanding all season (get well soon), Freddie and Ellis took up the mantle both making important saves when called upon. 🧤

Nikos, Ralph, Nathan & Joshua vowing to let nothing past the defensive back line. ⚽️

The midfield linking the team together with clever footwork and intricate passing with what has been our engine all season; Louis, Freddie, Ellis, Summer and Jude challenging for every ball and putting in the yards. 🏃‍♂️

Up top James and Archie penetrated the oppositions back line, running tirelessly looking for opportunities. ⚽️

With seconds to spare before the final whistle Jude pops up at back post, ever the opportunist, gambling on a ball through, poking in from close range clinching the leveller and sparking wild celebrations amongst the players, coaches and travelling supporters! 🎉

An 8 goal thriller. Sunshine. Drama. A hat-trick of screamers. The perfect way to bring the curtain down on a memorable season. 🙌

⚽ U11 Blues Away at Faversham Strikeforce ⚽

What a day! ☀️ The sun was shining as we made the trip to Faversham with 14 players — plenty of options for the gaffer!

We found ourselves behind after a scramble in the box, but Hugo was outstanding between the sticks, making some incredible saves to keep us in it. Then, just before half time, Marley produced a moment of magic — a perfectly weighted shot that dropped beautifully into the top corner of the far post to level things up. 🎯

We came out flying in the second half, full of attacking intent and patience. When the chances came, Archie was ice cool in front of goal, slotting home a brilliant brace! 🔥 Huge credit to Jack, Jakob, Tyler and Teddy for an outstanding defensive display to keep a clean sheet in that second half. 🧱

🏅 Man of the Match goes to Hugo — incredible saves, superb distribution and top-class communication. And he's only been playing for us for 3 months! What a find.

A really tough game, and to make it even harder the lads were a player short — but you would never have known it! From the first whistle to the last, they battled with incredible determination, teamwork, and skill, never once giving up! That fighting spirit is something to be truly proud of! 🙌

What a way to end the season! 🙌🔴

Our Under 8s headed away to Betteshanger and put on a fantastic display from the very first whistle! The boys used every inch of the pitch to their advantage, dominating play from the offset with some brilliant passing and real defensive strength! 💪

Betteshanger had some good attempts on goal, but Tyler and — in the final quarter — Dennis stood absolutely firm, keeping a solid wall at the back! 🧱🧤

A team performance through and through — and that's exactly why this week...

Our best performance so far and we did it with just 7 players and ZERO subs! Our super 7 controlled the game from the first whistle to the last, and every single one of them deserves a shoutout! 👏
