Combs Sailing Club OPEN DAY
Saturday 2rd May 12.30pm to 5pm
All ages, 8 upwards
Join us to try for free…..Dinghy Sailing, Paddle boarding, Canoeing
Our friendly club invites you to join us at any time during the afternoon.
Go out in a dinghy with one of our experienced sailors
Try out a paddleboard or sit-on canoe
Talk to our members, ask questions and have a cup of tea and slice of cake.
Just come along to see what we do, or just eat cake!!!!
If you’d like to try dinghy sailing, we provide a buoyancy aid, just bring clothing to suit the weather and maybe shoes you can change into, that might get damp.
If you want to try paddling, have a change of clothes and some shoes that will get wet.

Over the weekend as well as our family fun day and Anniversary Trophy Regatta we welcomed The Arthur Ransome Society and their boats. They camped nearby and spent 2 days sailing on Combs.

Thanks everyone for coming to see us on Saturday. 223 people registered for an activity on the water. 157 people tried sailing. 60 paddle boarding. 100 canoeing or kayaking. Also many of you enjoyed the cakes. If you want to do it again you can join us here

Lovely afternoon to kick off our season of winter team racing

A busy day for Combs and Todbrook sailors just not at combs. As well as completing at Leigh and Lowton our sailors were simultaneously winning prizes in the north west junior traveller and Derbyshire youth sailing. With one sailor demonstrating the stamina to complete in 2 events in one day.

They did it! After coming a close second to Leigh & Lowton in the last 2 events, Toddbrook/Combs claimed overall victory in the 2024 S2S event.
