Reflecting back on what an incredible weekend we shared last weekend at Run 4 Rosie 2026 - Running in the Summertime.
Some truly incredible distances, durations and efforts were witnessed.
👟 1800 miles covered
🏃♀️220 runners
👪65 miles covered in the children's mini marathons.
💰and an absolutely fantastic sum of £9300 raised for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation
We wholeheartedly thank each and everyone of you for coming along and joining in, walking, running, riding and cheering. The amazing helpers in the kitchen, co-ordinated wonderfully by Lorna d'Arch Smith - for the full 25 hours! Our volunteers on the aid station, the registration, the mini marathons, those signing the course, erecting the start lines and decorating the clubhouse. Those who were selling raffle tickets of the very generously donated prizes, working behind the bar, the superb musical performers and the clean up crew. The sponsors Trower Hamlins, Mrs H interiors for the medals and ducks, System Electrical for the lighting, the Recreational Trust for the venue and Chagford Runners for your involvement and support. And finally to the beauty of Chagford for the scenic Run 4 Rosie routes.
