We announced back in January that we had been successful in our application for the Pitching In Fund, supported by the UK Government. Funding was also supported by The Holywood Trust, The Scottish Football Partnership Trust and local funds.

As shown in the aerial photo taken last weekend, work on our new 3G facility is progressing well and is due to be completed within the next two months.

Once completed, the facility will benefit not just the club, but the whole community ⚽️

Fantastic morning at the Heston Rovers Festival!⚽️

Our second year entering the festival and it’s such a brilliant, well run event. It’s a different challenge for the lads to play teams from outwith Dumfries & Galloway as a few Ayrshire teams also attended.

Both teams played good football, worked hard for each other and scoring some brilliant goals along the way 💥

Amazing group of boys, they give their all week in week out.

Also a big well done to one our teams for only conceding 1 goal over 8 games, some going 👏👏

Galloway Thistle Festival ⚽️

Brilliant day at the Galloway Thistle Festival this afternoon for our 2018s ⚽️

Both teams were fantastic throughout, some top football and was a pleasure to watch. Every player should be proud of themselves👏

A few months ago we only had just enough for one team due to low numbers, so it’s fantastic to have 14 kids now.

Massive shoutout to Zara for helping a team out today!

Today we hosted some friendly games against Lochar Thistle ⚽️

The lads played some good football, brilliant teamwork from both sides, good sportsmanship and good goals 🥅

Was nice to see the boys out playing a wee friendly game. Thanks to Gary for bringing his excellent Lochar team through to Castle Douglas. Both teams are more than ready for the step up to 5v5⚽️
