Coaching with Christianne

Coaching with Christianne Trauma-informed parenting coach helping overwhelmed families reconnect with calm, compassion and real-life support. Sessions online or in person.

Free 15-min discovery call. Welcome — I’m Christianne, a trauma-informed parenting coach. I started this work because too many families are quietly struggling under the weight of unspoken expectations — from schools, systems, wider family, and often our own pasts. The usual help often pulls families in different directions, adding confusion instead of connection. I offer a gentler, more grounded w

ay forward. One where:

Parents don’t feel blamed — they feel seen
Children feel safe to be themselves
Change begins with small shifts, not pressure
I support families living with fear and overwhelm — the miserable mums, the despondent dads — who’ve asked for help but found it didn’t work for how their family really functions. Together, we uncover what’s really happening — inside you, inside your child, and inside your home — so you can move forward with more connection and less fear. My approach blends Internal Family Systems, hypnotherapy, and trauma-informed coaching with practical tools that actually work in real homes. This isn’t about fixing people. It’s about supporting families enough to grow — together.

Can we take a moment and discuss.....it is impossible not to acknowledge this reality.

28 days annual leave
65 days of school holidays
Childcare costs
Funded hours ending

Parents do not fail here. Systems do. And yet parents carry the blame.

“Why is this so hard?” “Where did we go wrong?”

As pressure rises, mental health suffers and connection becomes harder to access.

A real pattern I see is, “We are arguing more, I am snappy, and then I feel guilty, but I am just trying to keep everything going.”

When we name the load and reduce the self-blame, parents begin to feel steadier.

If you are stuck in keep going mode and it is costing you, you are welcome to reach out or book a Discovery Chat.

One thing that is highlighted again and again is this.

Many women were raised to be capable, independent and career focused. Motherhood, however, was positioned as something that would come naturally.

So when connection with a child is not instant, when bonding takes time, or when parenting feels destabilising, parents internalise the struggle.

But the truth is this.

We trained people for productivity, not for connection. Connection is learned. It is practised. And it can be relearned at any stage.

A real pattern I see, “I can manage work. I can manage tasks. But I do not know what my child needs from me emotionally.”

When parents understand that connection is a skill, not a personality trait, self-criticism begins to soften.

If you want to understand your reactions instead of judging them, you are welcome to reach out or book a Discovery Chat.

If there is one thing I would love to reinforce, it is this:-

Too much.
Too fast.
Too soon.
With too little support.

That is how many parents experience early parenthood.

Prolonged stress does not just affect mood. It affects nervous systems. Self-esteem. Emotional regulation. And the parent-child relationship itself.

A real pattern I see:

One parent said, “I am not an angry person… but my body goes from 0 to 100 before I can stop it.”

When we slow things down, the first win is not perfect parenting. It is a pause. A breath.
A moment of choice.

If you are living at 0 to 100 and it feels exhausting, you are not alone.

When school feels overwhelming, many families do this without realising: they shut the topic down.

Homework. Friendship drama. Detentions. Stress.

And children are left alone with it—leaning on friends who don’t yet have the skills to cope.

This workshop is about connection at HOME so your child doesn’t carry it all solo. 💛

If your child is saying “I’m fine” but you can feel the stress rising… try this:

Swap fixing for curiosity.

Ask: “What part feels most confusing right now?”

In the "Transition to Highschool" workshop, we practise the prompts that open communication without pressure. That help you as the parent be in the moment instead of pulling forward worries of what might happen next....

Before you start a new job, you research, ask around, read the handbook…

But with school, most families after attending an open evening, just hope for the best.

This workshop helps you get curious about policies, curriculum, homework platforms, behaviour systems and support—so you know what you’re signing up to.

What if the best way to reduce high school nerves… is to get curious? 👀

Different teachers. Different rooms. Different expectations from day one.

In my Transition to High School workshop, I’ll show you the questions to ask (and the ones schools rarely answer upfront) so your child feels prepared—not surprised.

Curiosity builds confidence.
