A little bit of information about my dance and fitness journey…

I’ve been dancing since I was 3 years old.
I was lucky to have always been given lead parts in my ballet and modern dance shows throughout primary school years. I was also a disco dancer from age 5, competing at champion level until I stopped age 14.

After a gap from dancing, I studied a Dance degree at Kingston University, with an exchange year taken at Charlotte University in North Carolina during my second year.

It was at Charlotte University that I trained intensively in Ballet, Pilates, Floor Barre and Contemporary dance. I was fortunate to have been trained by principal dancers from the Martha Graham, Alvin Ailey and Limońe dance companies, as well as receiving training from a ballet dancer trained in the Zena Rommet Floor Barre Method.

I have always been a keen fitness enthusiast, and exercise on a regular and weekly basis, using a variety of exercise methods.

My love for Floor Barre comes from my life long love of dance, and my experience with knowing how effective this method of exercise is for the body. I now wish to share my passion for Floor Barre with others, and I hope that I find participants will love it just as much as me ❤️

Welcome the my new fitness page to promote my upcoming Floor Barre classes.

Floor barre is a fitness class that uses a combination of Ballet and Pilates based exercise movements, which are performed to music while on the floor and at the barre.

The Floor Barre method challenges the mind and body, provides full body muscle toning and sculpting, and is a fun way to promote inner wellbeing as we dance to the beat 🎶
