Carshalton Dance Centre Royal Ballet and West End trained principal. Carshalton Dance Centre is a friendly and professional dance school in the heart of Carshalton and Wallington.

Carshalton Dance Centre provides quality dance, ballet and performing arts classes for pre-school children and toddlers to teenagers & Advanced Levels., coveringCarshalton, Wallington & Sutton with free trials. We provide dance classes for children from toddler pre-school ages up to teenage years and beyond. We offer ballet, tap, modern, contemporary, commercial street and musical theatre classes

and we firmly believe in dance is for all. The school is led by a former Royal Ballet trained and professional dancer who has also starred in many West End shows. She is also the Deputy Lead Examiner for the I.S.T.D. (Children's examinations), so as a school we have a huge amount of knowledge and experience throughout all our teaching faculty. Many of our dance teachers have been professional dancers in their own right, and they have a real passion to instill the love of dance and pass on their extensive knowledge to the children. Carshalton Dance Centre operates throughout the week and on weekends. We offer weekly classes, dance workshops both internally and with visiting teachers and performers, dance shows, lots of performing events locally and in London, optional ISTD exams in ballet, tap and modern and private lessons as well. With the range of teaching excellence throughout the school and performing experience, we look forward to inspiring all new children into our family, with free trials as standard.

Emails have gone out today to parents whose children attend the following classes, asking if their children would like to take their I.S.T.D. ballet examinations next term:
SAT Primary (Year 2)
MON Levels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6
Please get back to us if your child wants to be entered next term, as we have to book the slot from the exam board.

Reminders have been sent out today, as today is the final day for the Spring term payments, and to have the opportunity to prepare for our show this year.

It may have been chilly but we were extremely proud of the children who performed at the Carshalton Yulefest this year! Thanks for all our students and student helpers for coming to represent us, and thanks to the parents for bringing them!

EVENT ALERT! 🚨

The Royal Ballet School has an Associate Insight class coming up in the half term. Associate Insight events give an opportunity to experience a typical Associates class.

The Junior associate class is for students aged 8 to 10 by 31 August 2024 (in school years 3, 4 and 5). This is a great opportunity and experience for our classical dancers (especially those that attend multiple ballet classes a week)!

The CDC Dance Show (since our newsletter), has now had to be changed due to the theatre.
Emials have gone out to the whole school this afternoon, stating that the NEW Show date (including the Dress Rehearsal and 2 shows) will now be on....

Hi everyone, I hope you’ve all had an amazing summer and are looking forward to getting back to class.
Some of you already know me but for those who don’t I am Miss Morgan and I have now taken over the role of Principal for CDC. I am very excited to get started as we have a big year ahead of us! Can’t wait to see all your lovely faces when term starts again❤️
