💙 A Ballers Success Story 💛

When Ballers Sports Club started 5 years ago, we had just a handful of children attending our sessions.

Among them were two little Ballers called Theo and Sylvie, who joined us when they were just 2 years old.

Fast forward a few years and it's been incredible to watch their journey.

From learning the basics of movement and ball control, to developing confidence, friendships and a genuine love for football, both Theo and Sylvie have grown so much both on and off the pitch.

Today, they're preparing for their SECOND season playing for AFC Ballers, representing the club they have been part of since the very beginning. ⚽👏

Their journey is exactly what Ballers Sports Club is all about – giving children opportunities to develop, grow in confidence, make friends and fall in love with sport in a positive environment.

We're incredibly proud of both of them and can't wait to see what this season brings.

Thank you to their families for trusting us with their development over the years, and thank you Theo and Sylvie for being part of the Ballers journey from almost day one.

🌟 COACH SPOTLIGHT 🌟

This week we're shining the spotlight on Coach Mike! 💙💛

Coach Mike was the very first coach at Ballers Sports Club and remains a huge part of our journey today as both a Coach and Director.

⚽ Football has always been a major passion in Mike's life (even if he does support Chelsea! 😉)

Alongside his role at Ballers, Mike also coaches in the Little League, helping young players take their first steps into football. He understands that every child develops at their own pace and believes the best coaching comes through patience, encouragement, and creating a positive environment where children feel confident to learn and grow.

As both a coach and a father, Mike is passionate about ensuring every child feels valued, supported, and given the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Whether he's delivering sessions or supporting our coaches, Mike's commitment to our children and families is second to none.

We're looking forward to welcoming everyone to Baller Wednesday at Green Wrythe Primary School this afternoon.

🌦️ If the weather stays dry, we'll be outside as normal. If the rain continues, we'll move indoors so the session can still go ahead.

👟 Please ensure children bring BOTH trainers and football boots so they're prepared for either option.
