This page is to keep you updated on what is happening at Carrbridge Bike Park. The idea for Carrbridge Bike Park was first conceived in 2010, with Carrbridge resident Ranald McWiliam being the driving force behind the project along with his son Kerr. Kerr who designed the Bike Park - with help from younger brothers Lewis & Jamie - used his experience from bike parks in New Zealand to create a bik

e skills area, that could be used by riders of all ages & abilities. Work on the second phase of the park is due to start in Nov 2013. Principal funding for the project came from the Scottish Government's Shovel Ready Fund with additional financial support from Carrbridge Ahead Limited and Landmark. This page is designed to help share information of whats happening at Carrbridge Bike Park and too allow members to share their own photo's and video's of their biking experiences at Carrbridge Bike Park. Would make those long, dark, winter nights a little brighter!

An all too familiar scene at Inverness skatepark. 🌧️ Every winter users of the Inverness skatepark have to endure days sometimes weeks between the skatepark drying, causing Highlanders to travel OVER 100 MILES to the nearest indoor facility.

To help remedy this issue, a local skateboarder is researching the demand for a supervised indoor facility offering a dry safe space for users of all abilities. 🙌

Here’s hoping we’ll be riding soon
Cheers, CBBP

Hard to take after working our asses of last year keeping everyone rolling but we are trying to keep our heads up. Will update you in the coming days with more info on what to keep an eye out for.
