England Athletics U16 & U18 Track & Field Championships 2026 at Bedford saw a gold medal for Filip Noga in the under 16 boys' hammer with 64.06m. Teammate Caden Evans-Robertson recorded 41.77m in ninth.

In the 3000m walk, Cerys Fitzpatrick finished with a silver medal in a time of 17:39.83. 👏

In North Wales, Amelia Williams, Manon Phillips and Alex Ladd travelled to Canolfan Y Fron in Caernarfon to compete at the Welsh Junior Mountain Running Championships.

Joshua Barnett recorded a time of 37:40 to place ninth overall at the Ammanford 10K road race.

In Lampeter at the Red Kite Longwood evening race, Paige-lily Williams placed third in the year 7, 8 and 9 school year category.

At the Rabbit Run Wales junior 2K, Ila Owens was the first under 11 female across the line in a time of 7:20. Over the 12K distance, Emily Shawyer completed the course in 1:09:35.

Eight Carmarthen Harriers members as well as team manager Carol Jones travelled to Belfast this weekend to represent the Welsh Schools Athletic Association on the International stage today in Ireland.
