ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING THURSDAY 9th JULY 2026

The AGM will take place in the 1927 Lounge of the Clubhouse at
8.00pm. All members are urged to attend.

Please note that any proposals for alterations to Rules should be
submitted to Bill Rogers, Secretary, in writing by Wednesday 24th June
2026, or by email to [email protected]

It would also be helpful if any member wishes to raise other questions or
issues, that these are also submitted in writing by Wednesday 24th June
2026

This will allow an informed response on the evening.

Jackson

Once Jackson got going this season, there was no stopping him.

A powerful ball carrier with an eye for the try line, he made a habit of dragging defenders with him, crashing over from close range, and finding a way through no matter what was in front of him. A real man mountain with ball in hand.

Finishing the season with an incredible 27 tries, Jackson is a fully deserved winner of the Most Tries Award.

Not only did she birth our legend of a captain Ollie, she went on the create a further 2 rugby legends in the making, manages the Creighton u9s, and on Sunday was presented with the well earned and fully deserved Volunteer of the year award, the family are going to need to build an extension just to house the awards they’ve received this season! Congratulations Steph, we love ya!

Try of the Season 🏆
Junior Graham

Junior’s intercept try away at Carlisle in the local derby had everything — the read, the run-in, and the finish. Even sweeter knowing it came against our rivals and from a move he’s been trying to pull off for years!!

But it wasn’t just the try that made the moment special — it was what came after. The reaction from the lads said everything. The celebrations, the support, and everyone piling in knowing exactly how much that moment meant to him.

That’s what this group is all about 💙
