Victoria's Big Birthday Adventure 2022

As dawn pierces through the ancient canopy above, Coedmor Forest comes alive with the distant giggling from 7 intrepid, St. Dogmaels explorers, on a mission, to leave their stamp, on what is about to be, a birthday adventure to remember!

Congratulations Team Victoria! 12 rollercoaster hours of emotions, taking on the challenges of journeying through some of the most remote and inaccessible hidden gems, right here on our doorstep, in North Pembrokeshire.

What a blast, hanging out with a super happy bunch of very cool ladies from Llandudoch, an inspirational day for Team Anturio, witnessing the true meaning of 'embracing the moment!'

Thanks to our helpers, without whom, it just wouldn't be the same! Kacka, Phoebe, and Dennis - best team ever!

The Great Planturio Easter Egg Hunt 2022

'Planturio adventurers 2022. Those who traverse our river banks, who plunge themselves into the jaws of Cwm Du and ride the wild rapids of the Afon Teifi, those who scale the rugged sea cliffs of Mwnt and struggle to its summit, will be rewarded, not only in life, but also, in treasure!'

Our message to this year's 2022 Planturio warriors, revealed by the making of a jigsaw, the pieces scattered over many miles of Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire countryside and coastline, collected during high octane adventures and mind puzzling challenges and, after 10 hours of journeying through some totally stunning scenery, under bright blue Spring skies, they did find their treasure, along with memories to cherish for a lifetime.

Anturio would like to congratulate every one of our 'Planturio' team members, the Saturday team, for digging deep and finding that endurance and persistence, whilst always with a smile and overwhelming enthusiasm! On Sunday, our Dream Team of bouncing little explorers, for their energy and mind-blowing ability to take everything in their stride, what an adventure!

25 excited little Egg Hunters, 48 hours later, left an exhausted Anturio Team, but more importantly, some very happy local children - well done Team Planturio!

Anturio would like to thank all the parents for giving the kids the opportunity, to Jethro at Adventure Beyond for his continual support to our Planturio Groups, to 'Dennis' from Dolbadau for helping us out on the river and to 'Tat' of 'Swallow Boats' for allowing us the use of his landing area down at Gwbert and Ben for all his amazing help.

'It was a truly amazing and unforgettable day. Most memorable was the abseiling down sheer cliffs, climbing, downhill cycling, leaping into the sea and the delicious food prepared by Phoebe; all in stunningly beautiful settings.
Anturio, (Mark Thomas, Kev Griffiths, Peter Bodenham and Phoebe Partridge), gave us the confidence to face what initially felt like impossible challenges. BEST DAY EVER!' Gwenda Mark and family Summer 2021.

Pembrokeshire Tree Services Christmas Do - Anturio Style!

A full on Anturio adventure journey, in the depths of winter? - Why not! Pembrokeshire Tree Services' rugged arborist team and an 'Extreme Christmas Works Do' made for a perfect combination in what truly was one of the most spectacular weather days anyone could have wished for on our beautiful Pembrokeshire coastline. Some of the most spectacular scenes, funniest banter, wettest rapids, muddiest biking, bravest cold water abseils, most insane grown-up giggling coasteering, finishing on golden hot rock with the setting Welsh winter sun, a remarkable effort amongst the wilds of Cardigan Bay. Oh, yea, not forgetting a delicious feast of Christmas Curry back at 'Yr Hen Garej', cooked from our very own home-grown mutton and prepared by our very own, Katerina Lorencova!

Happy Christmas, Anturio style!

Sheila's adventure - Anturio style!

Sheila and her crew took on all that Lochtyn could throw at them during their Llangrannog Anturio fest 2021!
With wetsuits on at 08.30, the early morning ambience of Pen Bilis offered some great 'air time' as they descended into the crystal-clear waters of Cardigan Bay. The 'Jurassic' cliffs ahead proved to be no push over, but with high spirits and at times, a lot of giggling - no honestly - quite a lot of giggling, the dream team made good progress to the 'Giants Gap' and onwards to 'Stormborn walls'.
With hangry eyes, they made small work of the climbing and abseiling, on some pretty exposed and intimidating terrain to the welcome feast of yumminess (thanks Phoebe).
With refuelled vigour, nothing was going to stand in their way as they sea level traversed to yet another testing rock climb up the steep quartz cliffs on the North side of the island, to finish with a scramble to success.
A welcome celebration of bubbly fizz and yet more yummy delights awaited upon the summit, overlooking the expanse of the North Ceredigion coastline, making the effort all the more worthwhile.

What an adventure, what a team, what a laugh! Thanks - we had a blast!

Anturio Fundraising & Charity Event - 12th June 2021 - limited spaces so be quick...

If you’re up for an adventure, the first 8 local people to get in touch and commit £100 each will get a full day adventuring with us on 12th June 2021,

The funds raised will be split equally between West Wales Action for Mental Health (WWAMH) - a local Charity working to improve the standards of mental health throughout West Wales - https://wwamh.org.uk/; and funding Planturio days - where we take our local youngsters out to experience adventures along our fabulous coastline...

The adventure you’ll be signing up for will remain a secret, unfolding before you as we journey along this stunning coastline - just be prepared to do something wet, go up and down some cliffs, ride a mountain bike, do some paddling, be comfortable, be a little uncomfortable, be a little out of breath, and be absolutely amazed by some of the most unique and gob smacking landscapes we have the privilege to call our home.

Just a couple of things before you rush to get in touch:
Minimum age is 18, maximum age is unlimited!
The journey will last all day from dawn till dusk on Saturday 12th June 2021.
The level of journey is what we consider to be Level 3 which means that it’s suitable for you if you can run 2km or walk 5km comfortably; mountain bike on entry level non-technical off-road terrain for up to half an hour duration (no steep ups or downs), and that you are comfortable in the water with the aid of additional buoyancy and are able to make a few strokes to move forward.

If that sounds like you and you’re up for an amazing day out while also supporting others in our local community - then give us a shout. (The price includes guides, kit and equipment, snacks and big smiles). All you need to do is bring your own lunch and an appetite for adventure...

With the surf roaring up from St. Brides Bay lapping at their heels, these little climbing warriors held their nerve at Porth Y Ffynnon, performing some funky moves and creating their own paths upon this beautiful piece of Red Sandstone. Well done to this weekend's Planturio 'School Of Rock!' Sneaking in some amazing rock climbing in between the storms on Saturday, I think our Anturio juniors are truly our future rock stars!

Planturio provides free adventures for our local kids. Please keep your eye out for ways how you can get involved in experiencing the thrill of adventuring locally whilst funding our Juniors at the same time - watch this space!
