6 months update: 14/8/26.

I just wanted to give all our KBI-World members with our progress to date.

It has been nearly 6 months since the inauguration of KBI-World. A huge welcome to all our world wide organisations, and authorised instructors. Also a huge congratulations to all our full and affiliated members throughout the world. My sincere appreciation to all individuals that has been active in the formation of our various world and national committees. Well done all, you should be all proud of yourself.

KBI-World aims to unify and strengthen Karate Budokan International through a global structure, standards, leadership, and events, honoring the founder’s legacy and ensuring growth, integrity, and long-term stability worldwide.

Plans include establishing clear governance, recognized certification, and a standardized curriculum for consistency and credibility.

A global instructor and dojo registry will protect standards and build trust. This can be achieved via our
digital platforms and regional leadership. We will be focusing on strategic growth in Asia and emerging regions while maintaining our core values. Development of future leaders, inclusive participation, and centers of excellence in Karate and Kobudo.

Through international championships, leadership camps, global events and HQ. activities, we aim to foster unity and technical excellence.

Financial strength, professional systems, and responsible leadership ensure sustainability.

In summary, our purpose is: to unite, protect, and advance Karate Budokan International, guided by our principles: “One Budokan, One World, and One Family", not forgetting our core principles:
1) Integrity.
2) Honesty.
3) Professionalism.
4) Sustainability.

No doubt, very soon our new world website will be launched. I am sure many of our members will be excited to see our commitments and progress to date. I would like to ask for your patience and understanding that some local challenges will be dealt with ASAP. Patients are the key to our future, success, and sustainability.

Finally, my appreciation to the continuous support of Richard Chew, Wayne MacDonald and all my senior black belts in UK and around the world. Thank you all.
