This evenings England line up. Congratulations too for Harry Kane who Harry has earned 125 caps for the England men's national football team. By starting in the UEFA Nations League match against Czechia on October 6, 2026, he officially equaled Peter Shilton's long-standing appearance record. He has now been playing for 11years for England. A great role model.

Thinking about it I can't pick a favourite, I love them all equally for different qualities. The first one I really was a fan of at a very young age, was Sir Bobby Charlton. ❤️

Here's a little story he told...

I passed my driving test
when I was eighteen. The day I passed we had a night game at Old Trafford and I drove my stepfather's Sierra Estate in. I pulled up at Salford Quays and stalled at the lights, surrounded by fans, all laughing. 'Just passed your test, have you, son?' I parked in what used to be the players' car park, just opposite the ground, got out of the car, and a supporter asked me for my autograph. As I signed he said, 'Is that your car, over there? I think you've forgotten to put the handbrake on.' I turned and saw it rolling downhill, just about to hit one of the other player's cars. I had to run and jump in to put the handbrake on. Talk about embarrassed! It was a good job I was on my own.

I wanted a car of my own. By the time I passed my test I'd played twenty-five games for the first team, and there was an unwritten agreement that after twenty-five appearances you were a regular and qualified for a club car. At that stage I was getting £170 a week and giving £40 of that to Mum for my keep. So I went to Bryan Robson, the captain, and said, 'Listen, I can't really afford a decent car yet, I'm driving my stepdad's. D'you think the gaffer would let me have a club car?'

Bryan said, 'Of course he will, yeah. You deserve one, you're part of the team now, you're in the first-team changing room.' Steve Bruce walked in and Robbo called him over: 'Giggsy wants a club car, what d'you think?'

Steve looks at me and says, 'No problem at all, just go and tell the gaffer.'

Great, I thought, and went and knocked on the gaffer's door. 'What's up, son?' he said. I told him I'd just passed my test and wanted a club car. He went absolutely nuts. 'Who the f**k d'you think you are? You've played a handful of games and you're coming in here with your f**king demands. I wouldn't give you a club f**king bike!' Outside I could hear Robbo, Brucey, Incey and Choccy McClair all split-ting their sides laughing. They'd done me. They ripped into me for weeks after.

P.S. not sure of the colour so I chose a red model Sierra Estate.
