It's Volunteers Week – and we’re celebrating the people who make our cricket community possible!

Our volunteers are the heart of everything we do, and we’re looking to grow our team both on and off the field.

There are plenty of ways to get involved, including:
✅ Match day scoring
✅ First aid support
✅ Sponsorship and fundraising
✅ Representing the club at community events
✅ Administrative support
✅ Helping with club activities

Whether you have a specific skill or simply want to give back to your community, there’s a role for you. Every bit of support helps create a better experience for our players, families, and supporters. No matter how much time you can commit, your involvement will make a real difference.

We’ll also be at training tomorrow at the ground behind the Over Community Centre at 6:30pm– feel free to come down, meet the team, and find out more. You’re very welcome to join us!

Our Women’s Softball Team is looking for new players and volunteers, so come along to Friday’s FREE taster session.

🌟 Congratulations Neha – now a Level 6 qualified umpire! 🌟

A proud moment for our club as we celebrate our women’s team captain and amazing volunteer, Neha. She has successfully completed the ECB Umpiring Course and achieved Level 6 umpire qualification. 🏏👏

This is a fantastic personal achievement and a testament to her dedication and passion for cricket. A brilliant example of the talent within our club and the opportunities to grow both on and off the field.

A big thank you to Cambridgeshire Cricket Board (CCB) for organising the course and supporting the development of officials in the game. The course was tutored by Gabi Brown, who is the 2nd women appointed to the ECB Professional Umpires panel and the PCA Umpire of the Year 2025.

Join us for our final indoor session this Friday at Northstowe Secondary College, 8–9:30pm.

No equipment is needed—just bring yourself!

We’re a beginner-friendly cricket club with members of all abilities—so whether you’re completely new or have played before, you’re very welcome to come and give cricket a try.

You can get involved by joining our women’s softball team or our men’s hardball team. If you’d rather stay behind the scenes, we’re always looking for volunteers too.

Come along, get involved, and be part of a friendly, supportive cricket club.
