Today some of the Kites took part in the U9’s Dunstable FC tournament.
To say we are proud of the girls is a huge understatement!
5 of the girls played up an age. 2 of the girls were new to the team and had never played in a match before. We didn’t come home with the trophy but we did have fun and we did score some cracking goals! Go Kites 🌟

Some of these ladies were the original first girls CYFC team and we are honoured to be adding to their legacy. Well done ladies. We look forward to following your continued journey!

After today’s (15th June 2026) BHFL AGM, we are incredibly pleased and excited to announce that Caddington Ladies have officially been voted into the league ahead of the 2026/27 season.

This is a huge milestone for everyone involved and another important step in our journey as we continue to build something special both on and off the pitch.

The hard work starts now, and we can’t wait to represent the club in the BHFL this up and coming season.

Yesterday was our end of season presentation.
We had a great afternoon celebrating a fantastic first season in an U8’s girls league.
The difference between when we first started to now is incredible. The girls have grown in confidence and skill and made amazing friendships with their team mates. You can’t teach that, they just gel and it’s so lovely to see them interacting with one another on and off the pitch.

We started with some Thank you’s to our sponsors.
David (Allsop Building), Chris (C.Reeves Plumbing & Heating), Joe (TRT Rigging Ltd) and Dan Hart. Their sponsorship bought us kits, equipment and helped us start our first season with everything we needed so huge Thank you to you guys.

Thanks also to Michael Ryan for his help and assistance this season, particularly stepping up to referee so that Jamie could do his thing on the sidelines.

We then wanted to say a big Thank you to Chrissy Murray for being an awesome Assistant Coach, taking over from Nicki. The girls have loved having you on the team, helping at training, sorting them out at matches and generally being great.

Then on to the awards. We asked the parents and players to vote for Parents Player, Players Player and Most Improved.

We then had a difficult decision about who to pick for MP. All the girls should be super proud of themselves this season and what they’ve achieved. All the girls have a story and have been on a wonderful journey, we couldn’t just pick one, it wouldn’t be fair so instead…

We lastly want to say a huge Thank you to the parents, grandparents and the siblings dragged along, for showing up each week, whatever the weather, cheering us on, building us up, and believing in us. We love the girls and we love this team. Bring on Season 2026/27 - Go Kites!

🏆 Caddington Youth FC awarded 3-Star Accreditation

Caddington Youth FC has today been awarded 3-Star Accreditation by The Football Association and England Football

This represents the highest standard of grassroots club accreditation in England

The accreditation recognises Caddington Youth is delivering fully inclusive football pathways (Male, Female and Disability) and has robust club governance, planning and sustainability for the future

Thank you to everyone involved 👏 👏

Whilst the 25/26 has just come to a finish, we are already looking forward to a very busy summer, with preparations underway for what is already shaping up to be another successful and ground breaking season (26/27) ⚽️

And that’s a wrap on Season 2025/26!
The girls have come so far and we are so proud of them!
We have our presentation in a few weeks and training will continue until July.

Final match of the season today for the Kites against Stotfold Lilacs. The girls played their hearts out and we are so proud of how far they’ve come.

Caddington Wildcats is non-competitive football for girls who want to give it a go for the very first time or want to play, have fun and make new friends with other girls their own age. Most importantly, Wildcats is all about having loads of fun and meeting new amazing friends.
