A fish scale like rim finish, carbon spokes and a 3D printed hub. You hear them before you see them

Frame is always prepped to perfection before every build, this frame was exceptionally good, however chasing the T47 threads before fitting the Ceramic Speed BB will make sure it doesn’t snag and torque up to the correct spec.

Parts ready to assemble

Neat steer tube cut and flush finish on the expansion nut

Bottom bracket shell reamed and faced to perfect tolerance of 40.98mm.

Brake hoses cut to perfect length, olive+barb fitted with a smear of Avid Dot grease to eliminate the brake hose nut becoming corroded in the future.

Neat bar tape wrapping, a sign of a job well done.

This client opted for two wheelsets. This one was custom built with i9 Hubs, Sapim CX Ray spokes and a custom carbon rim. Paired with Continental GP5000 AS 35mm

The SRAM Force drivetrain made this build super clean

And the chain tied in very well.

Small details that are often overlooked, and invisible to see. Foam lagging over the brake cable reduces the rattle from inside the frame.

The Scott paint job is a head turner.

Ergon saddles are a popular choice in the workshop.

We’ve had another stunning leave the workshop recently.

This is the SLC5 - a super lightweight climbing machine, fitted out with Shimano Ultegra Di2, Lun Hyper wheelset (Winspace’s in house brand) and a dash of Selle Itallia finishing kit.

There’s been plenty of wheels getting laced up in the workshop recently, it’s a job we love doing! These eye catching set of orange Chris King hubs are a real stand out.

This stunning wheelset is heading over to - presumably for one of their beautiful hand crafted titanium frames.

Re use - Re build

This Pro 4 has had a previous life..

Nothing a fresh set of bearings, some new seals and a good clean up can’t fix.

Oh and it’s only treated to the very best and DT Swiss EX511 rim
