We’ve had another stunning leave the workshop recently.

This is the SLC5 - a super lightweight climbing machine, fitted out with Shimano Ultegra Di2, Lun Hyper wheelset (Winspace’s in house brand) and a dash of Selle Itallia finishing kit.

This stunning wheelset is heading over to - presumably for one of their beautiful hand crafted titanium frames.

Oh and it’s only treated to the very best and DT Swiss EX511 rim

Waxing a chain? - it’s always worth while fitting a new chain, adjusting the gears and then waxing the chain. Why? - when you fit a freshly waxed chain and try adjust the gears, the stiff dried wax can make it difficult to know if the gears are perfectly aligned and silent. Until you’ve ridden the bike a few miles, the wax makes the chain stiff.

Quick video showing how I use 3D printed tool to help align the calliper. I find all of their 3D printed tools very helpful, they’re all available to download for free on their website.

Here’s a top tip for getting the internal snap ring out of an IFP when servicing shocks. Don’t be using metal pics that can scratch the surface, use an old shim - a feeler gauge works well too!
