Our Manchester Challenge Trophy campaign comes to an end at the Preliminary Round stage as Baguley Athletic take the victory this afternoon.

A disappointing day for the First Team, but attention now turns back to the Manchester Football League and the chance to respond.

Another excellent result for the Reserves as they come away from Rochdale Sacred Heart with all three points after a five-goal contest.

That makes it six points from six to start the new Reserve Division campaign. 💪

A change of competition for the First Team this weekend as we take a break from league action and head to Wythenshawe to face Baguley Athletic in the Manchester Challenge Trophy.

⚽ FULL TIME | WALSHAW 0–2 NORTH WALKDEN

A frustrating result after a positive performance against high-flying North Walkden.

The Shaw produced a really good first-half display and competed well throughout, but the game was turned by a soft penalty before the visitors added a second on the counter late on as we pushed for an equaliser.

Plenty of positives to take despite the result. Heads up and we go again. 💪

The First Team are back at Elton High School this Saturday as we welcome newly promoted North Walkden in the Manchester Football League Premier Division.

Our visitors have made an excellent start to life in the Premier Division, so it’ll be another good test for the lads as we look to bounce back from last Saturday’s defeat and get more points on the board. 💪
