As always we had a great time at the Softball Festival today hosted by Bury St Edmunds Cricket Club. Thank you to Lisa and the team at Bury for their hospitality. Great teas as always!

Thank you to Emily and Sam from Long Melford ladies Cricket Club who stepped in to help us out.

Great to meet Graham Napier who was the special guest today at the club. We tried to steal him for our games, but for some reason it wasn’t deemed appropriate!

🏏🔥 What a phenomenal weekend of cricket! 🔥🏏

Our Ladies XI secured an incredible 163-run victory, with both Neena and Eve producing sensational performances, each smashing their way to a century! 💯💯

It was a truly exciting match to watch, packed with outstanding batting, teamwork, and determination from start to finish.

A huge congratulations to the entire Ladies XI on a brilliant team performance. 👏💚💛

🏏 Week 7 Player of the Week 🏏

This week’s Player of the Week goes to Ismene Johnson for an excellent all-round performance in our U19 fixture against Thriplow CC.

Ismene led the way with the bat, finishing 28 runs not out, before backing it up with the ball by taking 2 wickets.

A superb contribution to the team and a well-deserved recognition. Congratulations, Ismene! 👏💙

🔥 It may have been the hottest day of the year so far, but nothing stopped our talented U19 Girls in their quest to progress in the Vitality Cup.

Both sides played some fantastic cricket, but our girls held their nerve and came away with a 29‑run victory.

Next round coming up in early July, good luck girls, keep that momentum going.

What a season she’s having. Making the leap from softball to hardball, Helen has been improving every single match, and this week she smashed an impressive 30 not out in our T20.
