We all got stuff we have to do. But with shorter days coming up itās good to pencil in the time you need to keep your soul alive around all the essential stuffā¦
Every student who comes to my class is definitely juggling a LOT in life - and THEY remind me to prioritise my own down time.
You canāt pour from a leaky cup and I am grateful that my job is so fulfilling, it doesnāt drain me like my other jobs have doneā¦.š« BUT the imposter syndrome that comes with being a yoga teacher (Pisces/mum/wife/ultimate indecisive human) can drain the life out of me.
This autumn I am absolutely prioritising sleep again like I did back in January.. (after losing many an hour like the rest of the world when summer got hot!!)
Movement: Iām officially back into a new gym - not for work just as a member. I even cold plunged the other dayā¦I climbed out alive, so had to tell the living tale!
Letās keep motivating each other. The best thing about social media, I think is being inspired by others⦠and actually using the space to talk and make new connections with others; ask where the shoes from, ask what is their go to meal prep is! I do it all the time and I love gaining advice from others and implementing it into my daily life.
If youāre still here and think youād like to integrate yoga and meditation into your weekly/monthly routine, please do enquire about your free taster class on a Tuesday Evening In Thurston New Green Centre 7-8.
