It felt so wholesome 🥹

I am still not quite used to filming myself in public, and I thought I'd found a quite corner where no one would see me! (The irony of filming yourself when no one can see to put it online when everyone can see...)

Two lovely ladies stopped and watched me. I was SO embarrassed. Which is insane when you think about it because I am literally doing my job 😅 (although perhaps one could argue I didn't have to film right there and then)

But when they came over they told me they were admiring me doing a workout by the beach with my baby and my dog. I mean, you gotta do what you gotta do, right? But the fact they stopped and were so complimentary made me feel the opposite of embarrassed... and even, proud?!

So yeah, if you want to feel proud, go and do a workout by the beach with your dog and your baby. Or just anywhere you want. Or just at home. Just be proud ❤️

Mummas with velcro babies, this one is for you!!

These are my favourite three ways to hold my baby when she wants to become part of my workout.

🐒 Hold out in front
✨️ Good for babies who like being thrown in the air or parents who like thrusters
⚠️ Baby must have good head control

🐒 Cuddle hold
✨️ Google for babies who aren't sure about being part of the exercise program yet
⚠️ Use with caution with younger babies *this is the safer option but please still ask if you're not sure of anything*

🐒 Sandbag carry
✨️ My daughters favourite, I think she thinks she's flying!
⚠️ Ideally for older babies as they need full head and body control before this is attempted!

But what im saying is.. I get it.

You want to get back to exercising, but your baby is in no way about to help you achieve this. Or are they???

My 30-day calendar is ONE exercise a day. That you can do whilst holding your baby. Sling or arms. You CAN do this.

Keep it short and consistent. Consistency pays off.

Key for anyone who doesn't feel comfortable asking but still wants to know the answer:
BJJ - Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Toes to bar - an evil exercise involving hanging from a bar and your toes also touch said bar. Repeatedly.
Time cap - the time limit set for that particular workout
1RM - one rep max = the heaviest weight you can do for one repetition of that exercise
PB - personal best
