Congratulations Kayla!

Alongside her crucial work at FX, Kayla has also been working extremely hard over recent years on her Sports Therapy degree.

This included placements at various football and rugby clubs and clinics, working on both treatments and pitch side support in addition to the theoretical and practical elements of the degree itself.

Today, she’s received confirmation of her degree award: BSc with hons in Sports Therapy- first class.

Amazing work Kayla! 🙌👩‍🎓

Kayla will soon be offering treatment, rehabilitation and full body MOT sessions from our Sports Therapy Space at FX, working alongside Danny as a part of our Sports Therapy team.

Huge congratulations to FX Performance Club athlete Owen Robinson on securing his first pro contract at AFC Fylde.

We’ve worked with Owen for a couple of years now, and it’s great to see his hard work paying off.

Well deserved bud. Here’s what the club said on the website:

“Owen Robinson, 18, arrived at AFC Fylde Academy following his release from Fleetwood’s Academy as an under-16. He is a player that can light up a game with his technical ability and skill/precision with the ball at his feet. ‘Robbo’ has been fundamental in the U18’s successful FA Youth Cup and League run this season, ending as top goalscorer.”

Good numbers last week from FX football athlete as we got some basic strength, speed and power testing done here at FX.

Really productive off season so far, and looking forward to seeing this guy continue to make progress. Great work bud.

Monitoring performance has always been a key part of our programmes.

This includes more than just the load on the bar. Subjective feedback from the athlete (including RPE), bar velocity, jump height, total work time, workload ratios and more can all be used in the monitoring process to help us get the most out of every athlete.

Knowing when to push forward vs when to pull back can be a key component in success.

You can only manage what you measure. Watch this space- big things on the horizon
