CLUB BIRTHDAY: It’s our Centenary Year 🎉💯

That’s right, this upcoming season is our 100th year in football and we are celebrating in style!

On Saturday 11th July we are hosting our Birthday Party at the Club - featuring 3 marquee matches while we drink the bar dry 🍻

A goal keepers job often goes unnoticed but is one of the hardest jobs on the pitch.
Well done to the ladies who have played in goal this season. We come joint 1st for the most clean sheets across all 4 divisions.

What a season the ladies have had. Coming second in the league. 70 goals scored. Out of the top ten goal scorers in the league, Burnham have 4 players in the top 10.
Caitlin Stevens coming second with 21 goals in 12 games. Missing out on joint top by 1 goal.
Daisy Goldsmith coming 4th with 11 goals in 13 games.
Sarah Galley coming 5th with 10 goals in 14 games.
Vanessa Blake 7th with 9 goals in 11 games.
Also a shout out to Alisha Fowler who played 7 games and scored 5 goals. Only turned 16 in December!

Very proud of all of the ladies. Lucky to manage such a great bunch of woman!

Our LOTM from yesterday's 8-0 win is our very own number 9 Vanessa Blake.
Not only did she score 2 goals, she was everywhere on the pitch. She was a game changer. Great through balls allowing the girls to score. She had a great game

The ladies had their last league game today against Worle Rangers FC Ladies.
What a way to complete the season with an 8-0 win. 5 different goal scorers today 😍 We have 4 of the ladies finish in the top 10 highest goals for this season.

All my fellow players and supporters on here i am after some help please!

This year Burnham united football club will Celebrate 100 years since the club was founded. Like many of my friends on here, Burnham football club has been a massive part of my life for many many years, I was part of the first girls and womens teams at Burnham and am still trying to play now! I know alot of my friends and family have been part of the club at some point over the years, whether it's playing junior or senior football yourselves, playing darts or skittles at the club or you may have attended a party at the club. The club is a massive part of the community and has been now for 100 years.

To celebrate this, later this summer we will be having a huge football day over the football club and we will be hosting a raffle to help raise funds to help the club with the ongoing and ever increasing costs of running the club. More details of this will follow shortly.

This is where I need some help please! I am after raffle prizes please! Any friends or family that can donate anything would be greatly appreciated. I know many people have businesses, if you could donate anything, the club and I would be so grateful. I'm also after anything you have laying around at home wine, chocolates, smellies, anything that we could make some hampers up with.

The ladies have their last home game on the 19th April if your around to watch the bar will open if anyone wants to drop off donations?
