Spinach, lettuce, banana, apple, pear, flax seed with your fav mix. Can add a nut butter, honey 👍

Countdown to face-face training is on 🙌

It isn’t all bad! You can get creative, still work up a sweat or improve your strength in a kitchen/lounge/garage/garden....with the right exercises and consistency.

Nothing like exercising in person though! Probably laughing at my own jokes on my own most of the time!

The graph is pretty accurate, not every run has started easily!! Saying that, not a single run has ended without a smile, we’ve had some important chats on the way round, and we’ve both increased our confidence in how far we can run.

Today wasn’t about speed or distance, just about finishing together...with a smile.

Is any good deed completely selfless?
Signing up to this challenge in January was all about supporting the charity and raising awareness of mental health, now more than ever.
The thing is, we have benefited from this too. We’ve gone out in the sun and rain, and today all of us were in a funk. Home-school and work were hard, draining, getting out the door took at least an hour but I had to stop to take this photo of her smiling face. Dusted off the cobwebs, slightly bribed with snacks at the end of our route and all feel better.
Post home-school run. It’s not a revelation that physical activity improves our mental health but sometimes you need reminding how true it is!

The Powers and Pitfalls of the Menstrual Cycle - another brilliant, informative, important webinar from

Did you know that research shows that you should stack your strength training in the first 2 weeks of your cycle? It has been proven that greater gains can be made within this time frame due to the increased release of oestrogen. I had NO idea and this is certainly not shared in any PT course I’ve done.

I’m going to start tracking and implement this method within my training.

Do you track your cycle? Do your clients? Do you adjust training accordingly? I don’t....but I’m going to start.
