Rose is a kind, genuine young mare with a lovely temperament and fantastic potential for the future.
She is easy to handle in all ways good to groom, tack up, lunge, clip, bath, load, travel, and with both the farrier, dentist and vet. She happily comes to you in the field and enjoys attention and fuss. Rose has been kept in a mare only herd and is regularly handled by children of all ages.
On the flat, Rose is working nicely with a naturally attractive movement. She is still green due to her age, so she is not suitable for a complete novice. She would thrive with a confident rider looking for a horse to produce and develop further with. Currently ridden regularly by a range of riders including a petite 13 year old girl.
Rose hacks both alone and in company, happy to go first or last. When alone, she takes confidence from her rider, as expected for her age. She has seen traffic including tractors, vans, buses, bikes, and is sensible in open spaces.
She has been out arena eventing and cross-country schooling, proving brave and genuine jumping everything first time with a scopey, careful jump. She has also attended showjumping arena hires and shows great promise as an honest and forgiving ride.
