🏉 Week 2 of Pre-Season done ✔️💪

Another fantastic turnout at Bromley RFC this week, with even bigger numbers and plenty of new faces joining the girls’ section.

It’s great to see so many players committed to putting in the work ahead of the new season. Over the coming weeks we’ll continue to build fitness, strength and conditioning, before progressing into rugby-specific skills as we prepare for the season ahead.

We’re always looking to welcome more girls to our rugby family. Whether you’ve played before or are completely new to the game, now is the perfect time to get involved.

💛🖤🏉 The hard work starts here! 💪💛🖤

After last week’s session was postponed due to lightning ⚡️😬 our girls certainly made up for it this week, showing up in force for the start of pre-season training.

The commitment, energy and enthusiasm on display were fantastic to see. This is where the hard work begins as we prepare for another exciting season together.

We’re recruiting players across all age groups including a dedicated girls teams from U9s through to U18s. Whether you’re an experienced player looking to get back into the game or completely new to rugby, we’d love to welcome you to the squad.

At Bromley RFC we are proud to offer girls-only rugby teams from U9s onwards, giving girls the opportunity to develop and enjoy rugby in a supportive female environment from the moment contact rugby begins.

We’re also excited to be launching our brand-new Girls Rugby Academy for U16s (School Years 10-13), creating an exciting pathway for girls to continue their rugby journey, develop their skills and enjoy the game with like-minded players.

Our coaching team is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where every player can thrive, regardless of experience. Whether your goal is to play competitively, keep active, or simply have fun with friends, there’s a place for you at Bromley RFC.

Bromley RFC can neither confirm nor deny rumours that Ellie Kildunne is about to sign for the club.😜😂

What we can confirm is that if Ellie was joining Bromley RFC, she’d immediately become the second most exciting new recruit…

…because you could join too.

✅ No England caps required
✅ No Premiership experience needed
✅ Ability to find the clubhouse after training is a bonus
✅ Curly hair optional

While Ellie is busy scoring tries for England, we’re busy looking for players, supporters, volunteers, and future club legends.

So unless your phone is currently ringing with a call from England Rugby, your route into Bromley RFC is probably a lot easier than hers.

…but nobody warned you the girls throw harder shapes than tackles 💃🏉😂

The Harlem Shake is back and Bromley Girls understood the assignment:
❌ Calm behaviour
❌ Normal dancing
❌ Any form of dignity

These girls know how to play rugby… and they definitely know how to party 🖤💛🕺

Honestly not sure what’s more dangerous — the tackles or the dance moves 🤣
