***Dog fouling on the cricket field***

A plea to locals and visitors who bring their dogs to Manor Farm cricket ground: please clean up after your animals.

We have unfortunately had several instances of abandoned dog turd on the outfield in recent weeks.

This is a health and safety hazard: as well as having the potential to cause a very unfortunate incident for a poor cricketer, we regularly have young children playing at the ground - from both the village school and Wiltshire Cricket's youth teams. It reflects badly on us as a club and poorly as a community for the field we spend a lot of time caring for to be littered with excrement.

We're very happy to welcome all dogs to Manor Farm, as long as their owners appreciate the personal responsibility to keep the facility in a condition we can all be proud of.

Saturday: White Horse v Chippenham 3, 1pm start
Sunday: Wiltshire Under-14s v Hampshire, 11am start.
