🐉 One of our own is heading to the World stage! 🐉

We're beyond proud to share that Roman, a member of our Bristol Empire Dragons family, has been invited to compete at the Club Crew World Championship in Taiwan this month! 🌏🔥

Being invited to represent a crew on the biggest stage in dragon boat racing is a huge honour — and a testament to Roman's dedication, grit and paddle power. 💪

There's just one thing left before the start line: the flight. Roman has covered everything else himself, but needs a little help getting to Taiwan in time. So he's set up a GoFundMe with a goal of just £650 to cover the airfare.

Every contribution — big or small — brings him one paddle-stroke closer. And if you can't donate, a share helps just as much! 🙏

Perfect weather, great people, and an even better training session! ☀️🐉
The weekend gave us perfect conditions to get out on the water, and it was fantastic to welcome so many new paddlers to the team. We're thrilled to see new faces giving dragon boating a try!
A big thank you to everyone for the great teamwork, positive energy, and support throughout the session. It's amazing what we can achieve when we paddle together.
We can't wait to see you all back on the water! 💪🚣‍♀️🐲

🥈 More fantastic news from the European Championships! 🇬🇧🐉
We're incredibly proud to celebrate another outstanding achievement!
Our own Rob, racing with Team GB in the Senior C category, is heading home with an incredible four silver medals! What an amazing performance and a true reward for all the hard work and dedication.
So far, Team GB has won an impressive 9 silver medals and 1 bronze medal at this championship. An outstanding achievement for the whole squad, and the racing isn't over yet!
Congratulations to Rob and the entire GB team. Keep up the amazing work—we're all cheering you on from home!

🎵 Music, rhythm, and paddles in perfect sync! 🚣‍♀️🎶
Our music training session was an absolute blast! Everyone was singing along, laughing, and enjoying every minute — all while keeping the boat moving and never missing a stroke.
Who says you can't train hard and have fun at the same time? Great energy, great teamwork, and even better memories. 💙

🏁 Bristol Dragon Boat Festival 🐉
This weekend, Bristol hosted one of the biggest amateur dragon boat festivals of the year! It was an amazing day filled with great racing, team spirit, and plenty of talented paddlers.
A few members of our team came along with one goal in mind — to meet and spot strong new paddlers who are ready to take their dragon boating to the next level.
We saw some fantastic performances and hope to welcome a few new faces into the Bristol Empire Dragons family soon. 💙

What a fantastic Taster Day! 🚣‍♀️🔥
We had an amazing time welcoming new paddlers to experience dragon boating with us. There was plenty of fun, lots of splashes, teamwork, great energy, and of course — BBQ! 🌊☀️🍔
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and gave it a go. We hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did, and we’d love to see many of you back as permanent members of our team! 💙
