We have some great junior members in the team, but lets not forget these guys are all backed up with a great support network around them!

So this is an appreciation post for our Team FCB supporters.. the family members/ friends who do so much to keep our juniors going as well as helping other team members.. driving the juniors around to different flying clubs, events and shows.. often supplying various models & equipment and championing them all the way, to boost their confidence! 🙌🏻

Four of our junior members (Oliver, William, Jackson & Michael) are out at BMFA Buckminster this weekend competing in the IMAC Nationals! 🙌🏻

Another top class show over as the team recover from LMA Elvington! 🎉

The whole team performed great spanning across various different model types/ slots over the weekend.

Always fantastic to see our junior members enjoying themselves demonstrating the future of our hobby 🙌🏻

Following our other 2 new young recruits from the latest Big Up The Kids 2026 event, we also have our 3rd and final new junior member.. Michael! 🎉

Michael Bull is 12 years old and has been an RC pilot since he was 6 years old, following in the footsteps of both his dad and grandad. What started as a family hobby has grown into a real passion for all aspects of model flying.

Michael especially enjoys 3D freestyle aerobatics, IMAC competition flying, and jets, and is always looking to improve his skills in the air. Michael loves to push the limits with freestyle manoeuvres and wants to start learning IMAC precision aerobatics more - but whatever he is capable of - he loves every minute at the sticks.

For Michael, it’s not just about the flying—it’s the fantastic community that comes with it. He loves spending time at his local flying field, attending air shows, taking part in weekend fly-ins, and enjoying camping weekends with friends and fellow pilots. The friendships, fun, and shared enthusiasm for the hobby are just as important as the flying itself.

With a supportive family and a passion for the sport, Michael is excited to continue learning, flying, and being part of the incredible RC flying community for many years to come.

Back at the Big Up The Kids 2026 event recently, there were a number of comps & prizes going on for various fun categories.

Team FCB sponsored a prize in the form of a Flex Extra… this was won by 7 year old Austin for the competition of “most outrageous flying machine”. Of which Austin made his model from scratch with no help from his parents!

A builder of the future perhaps? 🤔 Watch this space! 🙌🏻

Another 2 cracking days of flying done for the team at Elvington! Wall to wall sunshine, low winds and lots of flying were the order of the day 👌🏻
