The team have all been out making the most of this gorgeous weekend of flying weather!

Young 9 year old Kasey has been busy… visiting the Large Model Association fly-in at Longhorsley yesterday to pass his LMA show proficiency test.. but if that wasn’t enough, he then went to his local site at Guisborough flying club to pass his British Model Flying Association B test!

He is now looking forward to taking part in the shows this year with the team 🙌🏻

Our team members are in action again this weekend, with a few of them down south at Popham model show and others up north flying with the JMA at Elvington! 🙌🏻✈️

Most of our team members were already members of Winterton model flying club prior to the team forming… so now we have the team, its a great place for everyone to come together, have a laugh and enjoy some flying as we practice for the shows!

Over the bank holiday weekend it was a club camping weekend, which saw all forms, shapes and sizes of team models out taking to the sky.. from Steve’s giant Vulcan Bomber to the various small electric foam models and lots inbetween.

There was also team members out flying at other sites too!

When the weathers good.. you just can’t beat it! 🙌🏻✈️

We are happy to share our 17th team pilot joining the team FCB ranks is another young aspiring pilot! 🎉

Kasey Walker-Catchpole is just 9 years old. He has been around radio controlled racing (RC cars) from a young age, but decided he wanted to take up RC flying last year and is progressing well! Hoping to continue working his way up to larger models & turbine jets as soon as he can.

About to take his BMFA B test, Kasey is aiming to fly with the team at the shows. He would also love to take part in flying competitions as he has a very competitive side.

He’s looking forward to making many new friends along the way as he will chat with anyone.. regardless of age, so make sure to say hi! 😁

Outside of flying Kasey likes to keep himself busy, enjoying many other things, from competitions at UK nationals with his 1/12 scale RC racing car, hurtling himself down steep trails on his mountain bike, practicing whips on his BMX, some indoor go-karting and even badminton.

He’s looking forward to meeting everyone at flying clubs, events & shows to come. ✈️
