What a beautiful day to start with these super Little Hoppers! They were amazing! 😁

Lots of throwing, catching, bouncing and boogies. I think their favourite part was the bubbles and stickers though 😂

Why are Motor Skills so important?

Motor skills are essential for a toddler’s physical strength and movement. We use motor skills everyday throughout our lives. They help us move around, lift things, balance and even type on our phones and tie our shoelaces.

Motor skills begin developing after birth, and progress as children grow. It takes the brain and the body's muscles to allow these skills to develop, connect and build with all other parts of a child's development.

Considering the current situation, we’re all a little less active and spending more time in front of screens so developing motor skills in children is just as important as skills like reading and writing.

At Little Hoppers we think that it’s so important to give children the space to move around and have a little boogie whilst we’re at it!
