Cycling is a great way to get fit, relieve stress and get from A to B. It’s cheap, non-polluting, and best of all, it gives you a sense of freedom. Share the Road. Think Bike, stay Safe.

Cyclists and motorcyclists have equal rights on the road, and everyone deserves to get home safely.

Close pass or close call?

Drivers: pass wide, be patient, and anticipate others’ movements.🚗

Cyclists: ride centrally on quiet roads, in slower traffic, and near junctions or road narrowings. Keep at least 0.5m from the kerb (more where it’s safer on busy roads). 🚲

Riding in groups?

Two abreast is allowed, and often safer. Be mindful of traffic and let vehicles pass when it’s safe to do so.

A little space and awareness saves lives.
