Roamer Steel Ketch Owners

Roamer Steel Ketch Owners A way for all Roamer Steel Ketch Owners to post pics and give updates on ideas and voyages and socialize with each other.

I have created this page for anyone who would like to share ideas or post pics of their Motor sailers and experiences. I purchased my Roamer and shipped her down from Scotland to Essex where I have been working on her to bring her up to comfortable sea going condition so that we can enjoy the sailing lifestyle.... If you have a Roamer Motor Sailer please feel free to contact us.

Hi A roamer did sail to america awhile ago it had a steel plate
fitted between the keel & skeg, I do not remember its name or
number. Roamers had bad weather helm so many have stainless steel.bow spits which are lighter. Your boat Eric looks very good
and will sail better on the oceans. My cruising ground is around
the Thames estuary, east coast and channel plus french, dutch
canals. I motor a lot so I have to take the two and a quarter tons
of lead ballast as dead weight.Regards to all len " Enchantress "

Just to show that I have masts and sails coming back from
ostend.
