This morning saw our Under 9s take part in the Dale Park Tournament, and for all of the boys it was their very first experience of playing 7v7 football. Stepping up to a bigger pitch and a new format was always going to be a challenge, but the boys showed fantastic effort, determination and teamwork throughout the morning. While they found it tough at times, they put in some really good performances and showed exactly the right attitude from start to finish. Every player should be proud of how they performed today. This is just the first building block as they continue their development towards playing 7v7 football full-time next season, and there were plenty of positive signs to take away. Well done, boys ๐ค ๐ค โฝ๐ฆ
