I wanted to give you all an update on what I’ve been up to and the reason Saltbirds has been so quiet this year.

As you know I have ran the Saltbirds SUP community for the last 4 years along working full time and raising my family.
I was never running saltbirds as a business or making money it’s always been for my love of paddle boarding, socialising and helping others.

Last year I was offered an exciting opportunity within my workplace, a new role where I could align some of my passions and use more of my energy. Since then I have trained as a stylist & colour analyst and now have a new position at Kettlewell as the colour studio manager.

Sadly for the Saltbirds community I’m finding that I’m very content in my new position and not feeling the drive or need to push myself so much outside of work. Instead I’m really enjoying for the first time in my life a mental and physical freedom of doing things just for myself.

I’ve really enjoyed Saltbirds and feel blessed to have met so many wonderful people & friends 💙

I have just one more session on Sutton Bingham on the 15th July, please come make the most of it. I’m going to be supporting the Sutton Bingham club who are hoping to continue offering the once a month SUP safety sessions which I fully appreciate 🙌🏼 it’s very much needed in our area.

I’ll also try to schedule a Summer paddle social party, it’s a shame to not end with a party! 🎉 😉 🥂

Thank you for trusting me over the years and creating so many great memories. I’ll still be paddle boarding and I still have plenty of adventures on the list.
