Whilst playing for Bridlington Town Rovers Girls against East Riding Rangers Alexa Crawford and a girl from East Riding Rangers caught the eye of a Hull City scout watching the game and where asked to go for a trial.

It is such a massive reward for these kids to get noticed and I really hope that they make it. 💪

Tickton 1-4 Bridlington Town.
The girls started slow tonight and took them awhile to get to ball moving against a Tickton side the where up for it.
Lacey made it 1-0 with a simple ball from Olivia and Lacey’s high shot beat the keeper. Tickton fought back but Kyra was outstanding in goal and Keira in defence and kept the scoreline at 1-0.
2nd half and we up the tempo and Alexa scored another screamer from outside the area, and we then made it 3-0 with Esmé being the provider and not giving in and got the ball to Layla who drilled it low and hard into the corner. Alexa then made it 4-0 with a well taken effort with Olivia being the provider again.
Tickton got a late goal with a well taken effort from a free kick.
Players of the match where Kyra and Keira who where both outstanding 👏
Player of the Month was Olivia Smith who has been phenomenal 👏

2nd place finish in the league and only losing 1 game is quite remarkable and we are truly proud of the all 🙌🫶

EER 1-5 Bridlington

With the girls knowing the outcome of the league as Barton had forfeited the game and handed East Hull Falcons the league, they where in great spirit in the sunshine and started slowly but gradually grew into the game. Esmé opened the Scoring with a well taken Finish and a beautiful assist from Alexa. It was then Alexa to finally get on the score sheet with her first goal with a worldie from outside the area this time Olivia being the provider. And to finish off the half, Olivias persistence at running at the keeper paid off and Annabelle’s shot was saved and landed nicely for her. Half time 0-3
In the 2nd half we extended our lead to 4-0 with a class assist from our captain Addy to her partner at the back this time she is through on goal and Keira finishes with a side foot passed the keeper. EER then pulled a goal back which was rather unlucky as Gracie did well to try and block the shot but the touch took it over Kyra’s head with nothing much she could have done.
Then to finish off the scoring addy then scored a sensational strike with an assist from Elsie.
Players of the match is
Esmé who was a threat all game upfront and Addy who was even commented on by the opposition manager who was everywhere.
