⚽️Football is back!⚽️

After a good pre season mix of training and friendly matches our U12’s are looking forward the the season ahead.

For our U12’s they will be taking part in the first year of competitive league formatted football .. 🏆

In the HO Soccer Taunton & District Youth Football League… 🎉

Match🥅: Galmington Dragons Youth U12 Hawks -v- North Petherton U12

Date & Time: Saturday 12th - 10am Kick Off

Venue 🏟️: PARKERS FIELD PLAYING FIELD (Reversed) due to Galmington being told they can not use their pitch for the foreseeable future four days before the season starts by Taunton Town Council 🤦‍♂️

A few of our U8’s who missed out last week returned this morning and picked up their match kits 🤗

We then got stuck straight into a friendly match ⚽️ against another local team - this would have been most of our boys first competitive steps into match football and we played some really good football at times and better still scored some great goals!

A great experience and lots of fun! 🤩

⚽️💙 OUR NEW U8’s TEAM ARE BACK! 💙⚽️

What a brilliant first training session back this morning! 🙌

The boys signed for the club — North Petherton Under-8s — and what a way to start their new chapter! 📝⚽️

The boys proudly received their new match kits, before getting straight back out on the pitch for their first training session together. 👕🔥

It was fantastic to see the team back together after a short summer break, we’ve got a great group of boys and we can’t wait to see them grow, develop and, most importantly, have loads of fun along the way! 💙

We had a few missing (on holidays) but they will return soon.

And now the exciting part… 👀

Our first friendly match is NEXT Saturday 05th! ⚽️🏆

The beginning of a brand-new adventure for our North Petherton Under-8s.

What a year it’s been for our current U7’s!

We completed our last training session today as U7’s and the boys finished it off by picking up medals and certificates.

Such a transformation from all the players from day 1 to now - a lot of hard work has gone in from the boys in training over the last year to improve and become better footballers.

We will now take a few weeks break to enjoy the summer as we get set to join the local league set-up from September and we will return to training at the end of August to start our U8’s journey.
