From a brand new club in 2023 to multiple champions and a thriving youth setup in just a few short years — the buzz is real! 🐝

• 2024 – First Team: Taunton & District Division 2 Winners + Gardner Cup + Rowbarton Cup Winners

• 2025 – First Team: Division 1 Winners + Presidents Cup Winners | U15s established | Full Youth Programme launched (U4s, U5s & U6s)

• 2026 – Reserves promoted as Division 2 Runners-Up | U7s entered the league for the first time

Incredibly proud of how far this club has come in such a short space of time. What started as an idea has quickly become a successful, growing football club with winning teams across senior and youth levels.

🚨 DUNWEAR UNITED MEN’S TEAMS | 2026/27 MANAGEMENT ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
Big news as we gear up for the new season! 🐝
First Team
Alex Bradley will continue as First Team Manager.
Joining him in the dugout:
• Tyne Govier – stepping into management for the first time after a long and respected career in grassroots football.
• Dan McCabe – stepping up from playing duties. The man who founded the club just 4 years ago brings his passion and knowledge to the coaching team.
Reserves
Rob Barker continues as Reserves Manager, alongside his trusted assistant Scott Lewington.
They’ll be boosted by Chairman & Club Legend Joe Warren, who will be getting involved on the coaching side and sharing his wealth of experience with the squad.

We’re building something special at Dunwear United. Both the First Team and Reserves are actively welcoming new players of all abilities who want to join the club and be part of our journey.

Plans are already well underway for what we hope will be a successful 2026/27 season at Dunwear United, and we’d like to thank all the players who have recently been in contact about joining the club.

Our First Team will once again compete in the Taunton & District Premier Division, while our Reserves head into Division 1 following a fantastic promotion-winning season 👏

We are looking to strengthen across the club and welcome committed players who want to be part of a positive, ambitious environment both on and off the pitch.

Match report: Yesterdays game had everything, must win for both, Big chat coming from the home team pre game, Gilbert not knowing which team to support and captain Rans was back for the bees.
The bees came out of the blocks flying, not giving the home team any time to settle. 3-0 up after 30mins with 2 from Brad and 1 from Jimmy…. 5 mins before half time Brad Darwizzy Walford found himself 1 v 1 with the keeper after some very questionable defending and cool as a cucumber rolled it past the keeper for his 3rd. Stowey then panicked and brought on all their first team players on in an attempt to salvage something from the game.
This didn’t work as mid way through the second half Jimmy got his second with a free kick 30 yards out 👀 and to cap off the game a superb finish from Jack Bates who wheeled away and tried to take his top off to celebrate but forgot it was sprayed on.
