Hi all, It’s four weeks until we start up again and personally I can’t wait. Preparations are cracking along for the start of the season and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone again and shooting things. Just a reminder, as per last year, please allow some time before your first shoot to fill in this year's membership form. These will be available at the desk. Until we have your info and more importantly your signed declaration you will not be able to shoot.
There will be a working party on Saturday the 21st of March from around 10am for general maintenance and tidying up ready for the new season, thanks in advance to all who can attend this. See you all on Thursday the 2nd of April.

Bridgwater Shooting Club held a Charity shoot today in aid of the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. Once again our members stepped up and contributed so we were able to donate £825. Well done all and congratulations the Air Ambulance and all of their support workers for the sterling work they do.

Really good shoot at last nights Interclub competition with North Newton and Mapperton. Thanks to the guys and girls at North Newton for hosting such a great, challenging and enjoyable night.

Tonight we held a Charity Shoot in aid of the Marion Evered Trust who raise funds toward the treatment for children with cancer. Once again our members stepped up by contributing to the raffle which in conjunction with the Club's donation meant we were able to give them a cheque for £435. I would like, on behalf of the club, to commend and thank the Marion Evered Trust for their hard work and commitment to such a worthy cause.

Congratulations to Jason Bragg who shot a perfect 50/50 at last week's Interclub shoot. Well done Jason, and well done to all the other shooters who put in very decent scores to put us in the leading position with one more interclub shoot to go.

Fantastic shoot this morning. Four trap flush shoot plus a pool shoot. Then onto the AGM. Lots of points discussed, all for the benefit of the club and our members. Well done all. Lee.

Fantastic time at the 2023 Bridgwater Shooting Club awards evening. Lots of trophies and certificates awarded to some very good shooters. Then, on to the local curry house for a great meal.
Really good end to a really good shooting season.

Bridgwater Shooting Club have won the Interclub competition for the second year running. Thanks to the other clubs for the healthy competition. Looking forward to next year.
