Someone should have been 70 today!
Not to be, robbed: taken away!
A party? Maybe? Not her style!
Just her friends,to talk for a while.
The talk grows less as time goes by,
The question less so: the question: why?
Why when life held so much then!
two new borns to care for,
the lad and HER babies,
Life’s circle again!
Why take this central, leaf from our tree?
Why be so cruel, how can this be?
Ten years have no answer!
Ten more will not see!
The reason to not be 70!
The reason to take her
from you, and from me.
