What is Skin needling?
Also known as Micro needling or Dermal Needling

To create skin rejuvenation, needling devices use very fine surgical stainless-steel needles to make channels into the epidermis and dermis to release growth factors that promote healing and collagen production.

In our course you will learn how to use a pen and a roller type device.

This course is for already qualified therapists to a level three or equivalent.

We will give you all the knowledge, practical skills and confidence you need to perform a professional, in-depth and results driven treatment.

Firstly, you will start with your theory-based tasks which will all be completed online and at your own pace at home. This leaves us maximum time in the salon to concentrate on honing your practical skills.

On completion of our practical day, you will be required to carry out two case studies at home to demonstrate your capabilities.

You will then return to the salon for a final facial assessment on a paying client with my supervision to show off all you have learnt and that you are a very capable therapist.
You will then be presented with a certificate to show you are qualified in performing Micro needling.

The following will be taught on this in-depth but easy to understand course.

What does SPF mean?

Is the sun protection factor… meaning how many times longer you can stay in the sun without burning when you are wearing SPF opposed to not wearing any.

SPF15 15 times longer without burning
SPF30 30 times longer without burning

Its worth noting that no SPF completely blocks all the rays the most protection you get is from a SPF50 which is 98% not 100% so you must reapply frequently.

The rays we are protecting against are:
UVA known as the ageing ray
UVB known as the burning ray

UVB is only present when it is sunny and hot but UVA is present all year round no matter the weather.

So it’s important you wear SPF everyday all year round to protect from the damaging UVA (ageing) rays not just when we can get burnt.

Look out for broad spectrum SPF as this ensure protection from both UVA and UVB rays.

This is some of the information you learn on our facial class, for more information see www.skinsolutionstrainingcentre.co.uk.

What can you earn doing facials?

The average hands-on facial you can easily charge £40 per hour with a cost to you of around £4 in consumables.

So that’s a minimum of £36 profit per treatment for you to take your wages from.

To give you an idea of your potential earnings working 4 days a week charging £40 per facial:

3 Clients per day = £120 per day
= £480 per week
= £2080 per month
= £24,960 per year

4 clients per day = £160 per day
= £640 per week
= £2773 per month
= £33,280 per year

5 clients per day = £200 per day
= £800 per week
= £3466 per month
= £41,600 per year
